Great Chateau to visit. We came at the end of the day so had to run through quicker than usual. We arrived in the city late afternoon and this place closes at 6:30pm. But starts shutting down areas at 6:15pm. We did pretty good in an hour. Here you can see some of the original furniture and accessories. Artifacts like vases, paintings, original wallpaper, floor tiles and more! Paind street parking available. Tickets were 12€ per person. We enjoyed it.

Its an amazing castle , absolutely what u should visit. If u have time to stay longer in city like all day , u can buy a combo ticket and also u can manage your ticket what kind combo u want to make. There have 4 kind of combo what u can do ( 4 places visit with one ticket and price of ticket going to be cheaper ). I bought 3 x combo , for castle , for light show at night in the castle and for magic museum. Into castle u can buy ticket at office and u can get extra info's about ticket , combo and price. Magic museum is front of castle , u can organise a full day with few visit and creat to yourself a wonderfull day.

Beautiful castle with 4 architectural styles lived in by 7 French Kings. Definitely go for the guided visit if you could understand French, Marion was very interesting and we enjoyed our visit with her very much. Learnt something new each time we visited with a qualified guide. The Musée des Beaux-Arts, chapel and terraces were not included in the guided tour, so do visit on your own before or after. You get a nice view of Blois from the terrace. I have visited many castles in the Loire 30 years ago and it was nice to revisit a few this trip.

For older people, this is an easier historical site to visit. There are only a couple floors to see the beautiful pictures and restored rooms. The organized route for visitors also make it a pleasure as in Chateau de Chamborg. We couldn't comfortably walk through the organized routes as many people were crowding the small doorways going in the opposite direction of the proposed sequence on the map.

Beautiful Château with a long history going through different Kings and different Architecture style as well. They have a light show in the night which explain a long history -> amazing experince to listen and understand more about that😉

We got the castle and light show combo for €22. The light show tells the history of the castle and is really impressive. The castle is bigger than it looks—it took us about 3 hours to explore. Very elegant inside, with beautiful furniture.

Was the best Château we visited in France on our trip so far and a dont miss in my opinion.

Very nice location and worth the visit! It really shows well how the place was modified along the ages. Guides are fantastic and really engaging. The light show was another great highlight!
