We saw a super interesting and mind-changing photo exhibition of the Brazilian photographer Sebastiao Salgado about the Earth and nature.

Great building and location - Sadly there were 3 floors of very boring photos of fish from around the world, this was the entire exhibition ! These images are easily found on Pinterest and they are NOT ART, they are natural history. How can the curator have got it so wrong ?

Important local art museum, with a varied program in contemporary art.

Depuis plusieurs dizaines d années, la villa Tamaris est un lieu de culture incontournable dans le paysage de la baie de Toulon : de belles expos, de belles découvertes en accès libre. La dernière expo est consacrée au talentueux photographe et humaniste, Sebastiao Salagado, avec Genesis, ce sont 250 photos en noir et blanc qui vous transportent d un continent à l autre dans des paysages éblouissants à la rencontre des êtres humains ou pas qui les habitent. Le dernier étage présente la fondation qu il a créé avec son épouse afin d ancrer son engagement pour la défense du vivant dans un projet pharaonique de reforestation.
