A bit disappointing. The white pizza was good, but the cheese pizza didn’t have enough tomato sauce. Cannelloni and polenta were both quite bland. We tried a plate of Niçoise specialties, which was decent – probably the best part. Overall, not much flavor in the food. Service was a bit off – felt rushed and not very attentive. We did enjoy a glass of Kir, a local wine-based drink with blackcurrant liqueur – that was a nice surprise. Great location, but the experience didn’t quite live up to the hype.
Nice location, friendly staff. But probably not my choice of food. Might be a good choice for a lunch or simple gathering with friends. But not a decent evening dinner on the weekend. Nothing bad - but just expect too much.
Food was great, staff were very friendly and helpful and the ability to pay online using their QR code system was a game changer! No waiting for someone to ask for the bill, then waiting for them to eventually come back! Every restaurant should employ this method. It is FANTASTIC! Thank you so much. We will be back! 😊❤️
The food was tasty and the place is located on a secluded alley, away from the crowd on the main street. The service was a bit slow due to the high load of customers. Still the staff was very friendly.
I had an excellent experience at this restaurant! The salade niçoise was fresh, well-seasoned, and perfectly balanced — you could really taste the quality of the ingredients. The pissaladière was authentic with just the right touch of sweetness from the caramelized onions and the saltiness of the anchovies, exactly as it should be. I also tried the pizza Margherita, which had a light, crispy base with flavorful tomato sauce and creamy mozzarella — simple but spot on. Finally, the tagliatelle al pesto was a highlight: fresh pasta with a vibrant, aromatic pesto that tasted homemade. Slow service but cozy atmosphere, and dishes that really respect Mediterranean tradition.
Bad food, bad service. We ordered the gorgonzola escalope, pasta was way overcooked, and the polenta tomato, this one was barely eatable. Soaking in the tomato water at the bottom, no salt, no flavour. Service is rude, even for french standards. Basically a bad restaurant.
A lovely restaurant in the Old Town of Nice. Definitely worth a visit to try the flavors of Provence. Highly recommend! Great prices and good food quality.
3.5 stars! Lovely little restaurant in Old Town Nice. We visited without a booking and could easily get a table outside. Pasta, Nicosia salad, mix starter dish and desserts were good for their price. Decent portions and pasta was perfectly cooked. But it seemed they prioritised other tables first, even though they came in and ordered after us. So we waited quite some time for our food.
