AVIAS JULES

I was about to buy a Smyth Realiser A16 Core (around €3,500) from AV-in, and the way I was treated in their chat made me change my mind. During Black Friday I saw a banner on their website saying “-15% on (almost) your whole cart”, and I wondered if the A16 Core had briefly been around €3,000 with that discount or if I had misread something. I contacted their chat simply to clarify this — not to demand that price at all costs. I have no problem accepting that the correct price is €3,499 and that this product might be excluded from the discount. What I found unacceptable was the tone of the replies. I was literally told: “So you may have dreamed it. Sorry.” and then this was justified as “a more respectful and poetic way” of saying “you are wrong”. As a potential customer ready to spend that amount of money, I felt treated with condescension and a lack of professionalism. Because of this interaction I decided not to buy from this shop and I have forwarded the full conversation to Smyth Research as feedback about their reseller.
