How is it ok to be so disrespectful? I had several encounters with the staff here whilst going the through the process of obtaining French nationality. I speak French, had collected a ridiculous pile of documents and come from a neighbouring country so nothing was too complicated. However every single person I encountered was rude and condescending. I can only imagine the experience of those with more complex cases and questions. I too am a "fonctionnaire" but would never dream of speaking to anyone with such disdain. If you don't like people, become a zookeeper, not an employee of one of the biggest prefectures in France.

If I could rate this place lower than 1, I would. My experience here has been extremely disappointing. The staff's rudeness and their unwillingness to provide adequate service made it the worst experience of my life. It's essential to remember that one's nationality should not be a basis for rudeness or disrespect. When unable to assist, they should seek someone who can. Language should not be a barrier to service, and the staff could benefit from improving their interpersonal skills and showing more respect and courtesy.

The worst of the worst, shame on you for not doing your work seriously and wasting our time, as an international student, the paper work delays got me in a very hard financial situation because I can't acquire any other rights or help without my permit, they don't respond through mails, taking an appointment is nearly impossible. My advice to every international student is to not consider this department. It's very embarrassing.
