We were referred to Mr Lopes for the full refurbishment of an old apartment we had just bought in Nice. Mr Lopes promptly responded to our query, understood our needs and prepared the terms of reference to call for quotations to be within our budgetary limits. A personal emergency prevented him from following the work progress as originally planned but he insisted on being on our side till the selection and engagement of the company who would carry out the renovation works. He refused to accept any payment for the services he had completed. The company he helped us select did perfect work to our satisfaction.
