Went there during the Festival for acute pain and suspected Appendicitis. The nurses, the staff, the security were all kind and understanding. Some of them spoke English and the ones who didn’t made the biggest effort through Google Translate to be able to communicate with us. They were prompt, helpful, respectful, and attentive. After my examination, they took blood samples and I waited one hour for the results. I was discharged with a prescription and a bill of only €57. Would recommend this hospital to anyone!!

Outstanding Treatment at Cannes Hospital Simone Veil by Dr Khalid Bouaghroum / Traitement remarquable à l’Hôpital Simone Veil de Cannes par le Dr Khalid Bouaghroum I suffered a deep leg injury during a boat incident and was taken to the emergency unit by ambulance — the first time I’ve ever been in an ambulance in my life. From the very start, the paramedics were extremely compassionate and professional, which made a stressful situation much easier. At the hospital, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism and my admission was smooth, and all my paperwork was completed quickly and efficiently. Later, I was seen by Dr Khalid Bouaghroum, who demonstrated exceptional care. His attentiveness, gentleness, and professionalism gave me complete confidence. Despite the seriousness of the wound, he took the time with stitching to ensure it was done immaculately. After treatment, he made a concerted effort to communicate in English , using a translation app to explain my condition and how to care for my injury. Twelve days later, when I was ready to have the stitches removed, the medical professional was genuinely impressed with his work and so was I. My wound is healing very well now and I feel fortunate to have been treated by him. I wish him continued success and hope he continues his excellent work—we need more dedicated professionals like him in both public and private hospitals. Thank you, Dr. Bouaghroum, for looking after me that day. I'm doing very well! Merci, Dr Bouaghroum, de m’avoir pris en charge ce jour-là. Je vais très bien !

I am writing from the hospital. We came here at 15.30 with my son who broke his feet. We already had an X-ray picture with us so we were hoping that it will be faster with it. We came to emergency room and waited there for 3 hours. Then they took us to the special cabinet where they were supposed to do a cast. And now we are here for 1 hour and 20 minutes and still nothing… so it is been already almost 5 hours as we came to emergency ‼️ and still didn’t see a doctor!!! Only nurse came twice to say that soon they will do a cast… There is a guy here who was already waiting 2 hours before we came. So he is here for 7 hours. We are thinking to run away … so so awful…

These people should not be working in a hospital. No respect for human life. Awful people dressed as nurses laughing at patients in the emergency room. I watched the woman in front of me try to translate for her mother who had just had a seizure and the staff was so incredibly rude to them. The hospital itself is very old with stains on the doors. I can’t believe a place like this exists in a first world country. Horrible.

I recently gave birth to my son at Hopital de Cannes, and I cannot express enough how exceptional the entire experience was. From the moment we arrived, the care and professionalism of the team were outstanding. A special mention goes to midwife Marion, who made the admission process smooth and comforting. Her warmth and reassurance instantly put us at ease. During the delivery, midwives Laura, Marie, and Jess, Katarina were truly incredible – their support, expertise, and calming presence made all the difference throughout the process. The entire staff at the maternity service was attentive, caring, and always available when needed. They provided the perfect balance of professionalism and compassion, ensuring both my baby and I were well taken care of from start to finish. I will forever be grateful for the care I received, and I highly recommend Hopital de Cannes Simone Veil for anyone seeking a top-tier maternity experience. Thank you to the amazing team for making this special moment truly unforgettable. 🙏

5***** ONLY given to Julien Serraf in the IRM department. Unfortunately, the other employees we encountered at the hospital were extremely unhelpful and downright rude to deal with! The 2 girls who worked in the IRM department withJulien were dismissive & uneducated in the business of handling patients in a kind, compassionate & gentle manor. My arm from the IV that was jammed into it is all black & blue with a bandage that filled with blood after removal! The toilets were disgustingly unclean (even at 8 am in the morning).Big shame because it is a large , new hospital that has big potential.

In this hospital I had a surgical operation in the Cardiology Department. Undoubtedly, all staff of this Department has a very high professional level. All the necessary procedures were made with the highest quality, exactly, confident, with the attention to each patient. Especially I am grateful to surgeon Dr. Lammens, He is a professional of the highest level and helped me very much. At the same time, all Cardiology personnel are very friendly, hospitable, supportive and sympathetic. Their optimism gives a lot of positive emotions to patients, which is very good to health and recovery. I can note from my own experience that all general administrative rules in the hospital are organized very reasonable and qualitatively.

The cardiologists here attempted to convince my mother that they needed to implant a pacemaker inside her, because her 2:1 AV-block was supposedly "degenerative". (They stated this as fact - not merely as a possibility. And one of these cardiologists stated that all 3 of his colleagues agreed that this was the case. It was only when I pressed him that he changed his tune to say that it was "probable". And even that turned out to be incorrect - read below.) Thankfully we declined. After leaving the hospital, we requested that they release her ECG to us, and it only took a a few minutes on Wikipedia to see that her ECG suggested that her 2:1 AV-block was most likely to be temporary, and not degenerative (Mobitz I, not Mobitz II). [In fact, the cardiologists' shortcoming swere even worse than this, because even if they failed to recognize that the ECG suggested a Mobitz I, they could have at least checked to make sure that her 2:1 AV-block wasn't caused by any of the known possible causes (e.g. hypothyroidism, sleep apnea, borreliosis, etc.), but they only checked a few of the possibilities, and ignored all of the others.] And, in fact, we started checking her pulse again about a week or two after she left the hospital, and her block had completely disappeared, just as the Wikipedia search had suggested. And her hearbeat is still consistently normal now, 4 weeks later. And other doctors have since confirmed that her dizziness cannot possibly have been due to the AV-block, because she frequently gets dizzy spells even when her heartbeat is normal. Of course, it is almost certain that these cardiologists simply decided that if they implanted a superfluous pacemaker, no one could possibly prove that it was superfluous, and so they decided that it was less risky for them to do that. All they had to do was to try to convince us that the risk of refusing a pacemaker was far greater than it actually was. And the team of nurses that they "assembled as witnesses" while they
