Very tasty ramen but of course l, like all places in Strasbourg, it’s a westernised version of it so don’t expect the real thing. That being said, the broth was rich and flavourful and worth the price. They have a good selection of sake and Japanese whiskey so that’s definitely great. They also have some interesting desserts which I’ve yet to try but I’ll be back so that’s on my list. The atmosphere is cosy as others have already mentioned and the service is good. The same music playlist is on repeat though - I would consider changing things up a bit on this front. Overall a good vibe and a pleasant atmosphere.
So I had the Tan Tan Ramen and the meat was seasoned very well and the egg still had some yolk but I didnt like the texture of noodles and the broth tasted like someone put in all the sesame… it was too much. LL in all it was okay, I can imagine that the Tonkatsu or Miso Ramen would taste very good here
Loved it! This place had been on my list to try for months since moving to Strasbourg. The ramen broth was flavorful and the matcha tiramisu is seriously in my top 5 desserts of all time!!
Super cozy place, especially in a chilly autumn evening. Nice for medium companies but also good for a solo evening. Service is super friendly and nice and food is tasty and arrive fast. They have great selection of ramen and some other dishes, as well as beers, sakes and cocktails. Their house beer is a nice one. Definitely book in advance as it gets pretty full, especially on a plenary week. The seats at the window counter are the best. Definitely a must for ramen lovers.
The restaurant decoration is really cute and cozy. Each table is quite small but enough space for drinks, a few side dish and ramen so nothing to complain. The staffs are very polite and friendly. They are willing to assis you which confirm that they are very service minded. We ordered 2 ramens and 2 side dish. The side dish we ordered were takoyaki and pork gyoza and they both were really really good. I really recommended the pork gyoza as the stuffed are really tasty. If they could do a bit more crispy on the outside then it would be perfect. The ramen are OK. The presentation of each dish is quite well make you feel more appetite. The portions are quite big and they gave a lot of ramen noodle. We find that the soup broth are quite bland for our taste. We believe that they probably adjust for the local taste but we still think if they can do improvement on this and it will be perfect.
Final note: 3,5 because I would give it a 3 and my boyfriend gave it a 4. We tried on clear ramen and one creamy ramen. My boyfriend enjoyed his ramen, the clear one, but it wasn’t the best we have tried. My creamy ramen was curdled and while it tasted ok, the looks of it wasn’t very appealing. The portions are big.
Very nicely decorated and busy on Christmas Eve lunch hours. But the food.. I would say it’s really fancy on the outside but the ramen was substandard. The soup is NOT hot at all which is already a big off to start with, the soup base is nothing similar to any kind of Tonkutsu ramen you would expect, heavy peanut butter taste with plain saltiness. The gyoza was very nice though. A very disappointing experience over all.
Ramen was good, but not the best I’ve ever had. Could’ve been a little more flavorful. I really liked the Udon Karaage though. The service was polite, but one of our starters was forgotten. All in all some pretty good food.
