We are staying at the Jay Hotel across the street from the restaurant. I saw the restaurant packed indoors and outside yesterday evening and I was lucky enough to book a table for this evening. It was absolutely delicious. Our children are 7 and 12. They liked everything we ordered, especially the cheese and egg in the bread boat. The dumplings were lovely but my husband and I really loved the little meat loaves/patties (sorry I have forgotten the name of the dish) with mashed potatoes. This dish was so flavoursome and moist. Packed with so much flavour, it was joyful! I hope that we will be able to get a reservation when we return. This is a wonderful, family run restaurant that has a lovely comfortable and homely atmosphere. You won’t be disappointed.

I feel like this place has the happiest and best customer service I've ever received. It was my first time trying Georgian food and they were so lovely. The pear lemonade was amazing also and the cheese boat with egg was such high quality. 😋

So friendly! Casual, fun, welcoming atmosphere. The staff explained the dishes, cooking and eating traditions nicely. Food is outstanding. I'd eat the"cheese canoe" daily if I could.

A true Georgian restaurant. The staff is very friendly and attentive, and the food is outstanding. I highly recommend it. Don't forget to try the orange wines, one of the most delicious wines there is.

We are so glad that we did a reservation in advance because all tables were seated a few minutes after opening. The food was incredibly delicious. We had a full table of tastiness. Anna was thoughtful, she was asking us about potential allergies, she recommended us the wine. We had the perfect and best night in Nice on our holiday. Would recommend 100% and we would come back for sure

We didn’t have a reservation and stopped by just before they opened for dinner service. All of the indoor tables were already reserved, but luckily we managed to get seated outside. This restaurant is popular for many reasons. First and foremost is the boss lady — she’s full of energy, moving quickly from table to table to make sure everyone is enjoying their food, even showing us the proper way to eat certain dishes. Then, of course, there’s the food itself, which is truly excellent. The veal stew was fantastic with the bread, and the pork skewer was incredibly tender, perfectly seasoned to highlight its natural flavor, and delicious with the accompanying sauce. Their recommended fruit wine paired beautifully with the dishes as well. This family-run restaurant is a true gem. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone visiting Nice — just be sure to make a reservation!

We’ve got a tradition of visiting Georgian restaurants whenever we travel. But let me tell you this: Tone Georgian is one of the best restaurants we’ve tried. All the ingredients are super fresh and high quality – big bravo to the guys in the kitchen! The atmosphere feels like you’ve been invited to a Georgian home for dinner. The beautifully chosen music makes you feel comfortable, just like the restaurant’s cozy interior. And of course, the heart of Tone Georgian – the super kind and hospitable Anna and Zaza. They make the whole experience unforgettable! They’re very helpful, always checking if guests are happy, and even giving advice on how to enjoy certain dishes the traditional Georgian way. During our holiday we went there twice, and we’ll definitely come back whenever we’re in Nice. Highly recommend this restaurant – just make sure you go with an empty stomach! 10 out of 10

One of the better national restaurants I’ve been to. As you can also see in other reviews, the real highlight is the “lady owner,” who takes such good care of all the guests and keeps the Georgian culture alive. She’ll come by your table, tell you a story, or explain how to properly eat the food the Georgian way. The food is as expected — not something that will blow you away, but definitely good and true to what you’d hope for. Certainly better than 90% of restaurants out there. Another great thing about this place is that everything on the menu is of Georgian origin — for example, there’s no Coca-Cola. Which is fantastic! I’d definitely come back here if I lived in Nice.
