Good place
The Cayenne Market is an open-air market you would expect to see in a movie. Lots of activity, lots of people selling their wares, while lots of people are looking to buy them. A great place to get lunch, ingredients, and even local souvenirs!
A really typical day market to go to buy fruits and vegegardien. Absolutely loved the atmosphère! Fresh fruit and vegetables which are mostly cheaper than in the supermarkets, except for onions, potatos and garlic. The market is open every wednesday, friday and saturday from 4 am to 2 pm.
The sellers in the market are generous, they usullay give you free stuff to try before you make a purchase
There's a lot of good vietnamese and creole food here, especially the Pho was very tasty. Otherwise a classic south american market.
Absolutley loved it, people were very friendly, nice and all, food was great, atmosphere was nice, although it was crowded. Definitely recommend if you are in french guiana 🇬🇫
