Extremely informative and interesting tour - the cellars themselves are absolutely gorgeous and the wine tasting was great. A little pricey at €30-€40 a person, but I enjoyed how small the group was.

Give it a miss, unless you have nothing else to do. The tour is very short and there isn’t much to see. All their production is in Épernay. The guide spoke only generally about champagne without mentioning The House. How do they differ from others? She was clearly just concerned how to get out and finish quickly. Quite pricey for what you get!

A very short tour but a very good quality Champagne tasting. One of few places in Reims which give you not only know how information about Champagne production and terminology but some statistics data too. A very friendly staff. I will recommend this House to visit. A very good value for money.

From Chicago, it is "cool" to see "luxury" champagne houses in Epernay but honestly my favorite were in Reims and GH Martel was my favorite. The champagne is incredible and so it the customer service and enthusiasm about wine. At the larger "fancier" properties I did not get someone to talk to me about the champagne and educate me on their process. It was my first stop here, on accident. And I am glad it was. Please make a trip here amongst your time in champagne, you will enjoy the experience.

This UNESCO heritage champagne house was a pleasure to be. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about sharing information about this house. Having done tours with few of the LVMH owned houses, the passion of remaining a family business shows. It’s a walkable distance from the cathedral and a must visit for visitors in Reims.

Stopped here for a tasting and, wow! Unbelievable champagne. Very intimate tasting by the manager who took a solid hour to explain each wine to us, and how to find it in the states - which is a bit challenging. Phenomenal. Do not pass by without stopping.

I already visited Port, Madeira and plenty wine producers around the world and today I had one of the best winery related experience ever. During the visit, the young lady was very clear and professional. She was very helpful asking my questions regarding the IIWW and how this event was related with the production of Champagne. Interesting tour with a skilled and friendly guide. She has explained all the key phases of champagne production illustrating all the old machineries and procedures. At the end we have tasted three different typologies of champagne including rosé, which has been very successful lately. The quality and taste of Martel are undoubtedly of a certain level. I highly recommend this tour and take advantage of the detailed explanation about the way for recognizing a high quality product and of all those advices to buy something special.
