Avis
Location, friendly staff, wonderful meal, comfortable cool room with excellent a/c. Great value for money. I loved my one night stay here en route to the Alps with my black Labrador. I wanted to book for my return but they were full - that disappointed me but they deserve to be. Book without hesitation. I would love to stay again and hope to one day! Merci beaucoup à tous.
Fabulous location on top of a hill. Good hearty food at good prices. And a fantastic brewery next door. Also a good starting point for some local hiking. The rooms are not great, but functional.
There was a problem with check-in, but they fixed it quickly. The rooms were comfortable, but I think that our room was above the kitchen as we had every smell from there. We got used to it after a while 😳. For me, it seemed that the establishment was run as a family type place. It was lacking a bit of professionalism and friendliness, I was surprised when 2 staff members came into the restaurant at breakfast, looked at us but no good morning or anything. All in all, it was fine for the price we paid. The food in the restaurant for dinner was good, service was fine.
Perfect stopover on our way south skiing. Ten minutes drive from the motorway. ||Extremely friendly staff. Fabulous and extremely spacious room with large modern bathroom. Room lovely and quiet.||Restaurant very busy and popular with locals. Large portions, delicious home cooked food. ||Highly recommended and will certainly use this hotel in the future.
A little off the beaten track. Was expecting a shock coloured lodge ( web site pictures ). Very 70's but (undergoing?) modernisation. Pleasant room with modern bathroom. Good breakfast.
We've stayed here 3 times this year already and found the management and staff all to be friendly and efficient. Breakfast has a very good selection to choose from. They offer a bed breakfast dinner deal if you book direct, which we found to be good value and the evening meal was very nice. The wines were also reasonably priced. The location is very interesting with views, walks and history to be explored. The rooms vary but each stay we have found the beds to be comfy, rooms and bathrooms clean so overall a good option. We will stay another time in the future.
Perfect overnight break on journey through France. Our groundfloor room was spacious, comfortable and cool. The decoration is possibly in need of updating. separate toilet and shower rooms lead directly from bedroom and have glass doors.||A very warm welcome from the owners. Easy on site parking. Dinner was good and used local products. Breakfast was adequate. The position of this hotel is amazing - so peaceful and beautiful - on a hill top with wonderful views over the surrounding countryside. The village is small and consists of a few big houses (some privately owned and some owned by the big church of Notre Dame, which is a place of pilgrimage in May - hence the 14 stations of the cross leading up the hill. Lots of open space and lovely dog walks. This is the only accommodation out of 15 this holiday that has offered to help me with our luggage and which gave us a free cup of coffee and a big bottle of cold water to see us on our journey.
Friendly welcome, happy to find somewhere to store cycle. Staff were friendly and went out of their way to help. Good parking, lovely situation. ||Dinners were good - I was staying demi-pension. Breakfast was traditional continental. ||The room was clean and a good size with air conditioning and a balcony which had lovely views. ||Wi-Fi in common with many hotels was a bit slow and unreliable but was ok for web browsing and e-mail.||I would happily stay here again.
