This place is divine. Al fresco dining in a beautiful terrace with luscious green garden. Reservation recommanded. They are fully booked each day. We were greeted and seated promptly upon arrival. The service was just fantastic which is not common in this country especially when you don't look like part of the local crowd. The waiter (Jeremy) was very courteous and friendly. He took note of my lactose allergy. Dishes were served promptly. He came by to apologise profusely because we waited just a little as the chef forgot about my lactose allergy and the waiter asked for a new dish to be cooked. It didn't even feel like we were waiting as we enjoyed the ambiance and the good weather. The food was divine with flavours and aromas that exquisitely exploded in your mouth. The pork was cooked to perfection. In between dishes, the chef came out to greet his regular clients and stopped by to say hello to us and a second time to see if all was well. He was polite, friendly and pleasant. Dessert was buffet style. Since most of the pastries had lactose, I didn't try them. My partner told me they were delicious and he went for second helping. The waiter offered to get me a lactose free dessert. It was a fabulous surprise. Dessert was like a beautiful painting. It had delicious sorbet (melon and raspberry if I recall correctly) with fresh passion fruit and the caramelised grilled pistachio nuts were just heavenly. I even had a lactose free "crème chantilly" beautifully decorated with fresh fruits. Prices are very affordable, we are talking about fine dining here Gastronomique! For lunch on weekdays, its 21 euro for 2-course and 26 euro for 3-course meal. For dinners it's 30 euro. There are several different menus which one can check on the restaurant's website. Good wine selection, mostly local. We went for the house wine, at 6 euro for 50 cl. Bravo for the bold step in keeping wine prices more than reasonable. What a wonderful time we had eating in this restaurant, the beef with aligot was great, the place, the attention and everything was flawless, it even has free private parking and all you can eat desserts. Great pricing too, look no further, mandatory stop!! Merci beaucoup Jeremy, chef and the rest of the team!! ❤️
The food is absolutely delicious and the staffs are so friendly.
For years I dismissed this place because it was sandwiched between the car show rooms and the busy dual carriageway etc. What a huge mistake. It's a calm oasis and you cannot hear any road noise. The food and service are all amazing. I love it. Always go for lunch which is a good price and dinner for special occasions. Highly recommend.
Catherine and Jean-Michel made our family’s trip to Champagne one to remember! The 17th century cottage we stayed in had all the charm and enchantment one could hope for. Their restaurant is one in a million! They planned and personally curated a private dinner for our family, a French 3 course meal that was almost too good to be true. Amazing food and company! Highly recommend!!
We had the 47€ menu and it was worth it. Lovely food, well presented, with friendly but classy service. The desserts buffet is to die for - make sure you leave room. Altogether a great experience for a special occasion - especially if it's warm enough to eat on the lovely terrace!
Perfect. Wonderful experience at the counter with chef Franck
Really enjoyed this experience. Although the restaurant is in an unlikey rather industrial location nestled between car showrooms, the food was great and the garden is nice. Unlimited dessert too! Well worth it.
