COTE CANAL

Nice middle age bridge over the Saône. Unfortunately there is constant bad traffic going over here, feels totally outdated and like a missed chance. I even believe that this situation is fueling the traffic on the Macon river banks. It would be wiser to close this bridge for motorized vehicles and make this a pedestrian and bicycle bridge only. There is a modern bridge south of this monument and a second north as the highway bridge. So options are around.
