As a single travelling pensioner, I didn't like the area the hotel was in due to the groups of youngsters who were milling around the area. As a younger man, I wouldn't have been concerned.

Decent hotel for it's price. Toilets and showers in corridor. Everything was clean.

Within walking distance from train station Staff were very friendly Managed to get an early check in Breakfast was great with extra cappuccino coffee Housekeeping staff had done an excellent job

I'm just getting ready to leave. A good impression for a hotel of this class, and special praise goes to the receptionist because she is very kind, helpful, and speaks English. You couldn't ask for more.

There's nothing really wrong with the hotel. It's a good concept: you're on a budget, but you still want to travel, so you stay here and, well, you get what you pay for. If the toilets were in the rooms, it would just make life easier. We thought we'd try the hotel because it was just so cheap, but the toilet situation was too stressful, with 3 kids. And in fairness, France has a lot of options with cheap accommodation, so it's not really worth it to bunk in with the truckies and travelling salesmen and, er, fellas with their tiny overnight bags taking their girlfriends for a ... fling ... Location was handy to St Nazaire and surrounds (by car) but we were pretty happy to leave!! Experiment over!

Might as well be called Shelter F1. Showers are outside of the room. Toilets too, and not clean. Not even towels are provided with the room. You've got to pay for them. But hey, they give you free wifi, all good then....

F1's are not 5X Hotels - you should guess this by the price!||Read their web-site for what you Do and Don't get - then you will be highly pleased when you see what you do actually get. - A very clean, 100% functional room and hand towels that we have always been able to use for the shower||not amny eateries close by but at tthe other end of the road was the V&B Bar - over 220 different beers and "pressed ganged" into a free Whisky tasting session!!
