Avis
The rustic, eco-friendly atmosphere and selection of natural wines added to the charm. Friendly, efficient service, and a great balance between local quality and casual comfort. Highly recommend for a tasty, guilt-free twist on a classic burger in the city center!
During my single visit, I sampled both the Le Bourguignon and the Le Steak Frites. Both dishes were quite tasty, though the portions were perhaps a bit modest. While the wine list was impressive, its pricing seemed a bit elevated considering the menu focuses on burgers and other casual fare. For those seeking a quick meal with a glass of wine, some more budget-friendly options on the wine list would be a welcome addition.
Delicious burger and beers. Fast service and nice ambiance. The cheeseburger would be better with more sauce.
We had pretty high hopes for this place (mainly due to all the good ratings), unfortunately it was just decent. The service was good and the food was served incredibly fast (almost too fast) but the food was just okay, unfortunately. The burger bun was a bit soft, the patty too raw for what we ordered and the burger itself not salty/spicy enough. At least the food seemed homemade for the most part which was a plus for sure. I wouldn't necessarily recommend the place but it definitely isn't bad.
Unpleasant and rude staff. Poor food. Good wine. The service to tourists in this restaurant is the worst I have experienced. They were rude, dismissive and unpleasant when we tried to converse in French. They were even rude to our 12 year old daughter when she excitedly tried to talk to them in French. The food is greasy and poor. The veggie options in particular were inedible. The natural wine section is good. That is all.
We decided to drive to Dijon for the day from Switzerland. I had my baby daughter two French Bulldogs (one in a wheelchair as he’s paralyzed) and we wanted to get a sit down or takeaway burger as it was dinner time. The Cashier/ Hostess refused to serve us even though there were other patrons ordering take away burgers. She was very rude. It’s okay perhaps she is just mean and didn’t like us. Their loss but if I were the owner I wouldn’t want the workers turning people away.
The best homemade burger shop in Dijon so far. The place is very cozy, spacious and well designed. The food is tasteful and the service is pretty fast. The prices are slightly high but definitely worth it. The burgers are very good, the meat is so tender and juicy, the bun is just on point. A vegan burger is also available, made with falafel steak. The staff is very welcoming. Highly recommended
It was really nice at Alfred's. Its pretty much in the center but wasn't crowded or full of other tourist. We were sitting upstairs in a super cosy and nicely decorated room. We had a nice conversation with the owner. He helped us pick the perfect wine and told us a bit about the region.
