Outstanding hotel! Rooms were spotless. Service was excellent. The food was good although sometimes the eggs were a little colder than I like possibly because I got up late. Excellent location near the water (what we call the English Channel). Safe community. Charming town. I'd stay here again!

Stayed here for a night and would say the hotel is okay. It didn’t particularly wow me, the rooms are a bit outdated for my taste, can do with some sprucing up. Service was not particularly astounding, just normal. I will say breakfast was really nice and La Belle Epoque dining room is gorgeous. The room we stayed in was also nice and silent which is a big plus. But other than that I think the hotel is riding the coattails of its previous reputation. TBH Deauville in general is riding its own coattails, it was a very dead weekend getaway imo.

We had an excellent two-night stay at the Hotel Barriere Le Normandy Deauville! We loved the character of this historic hotel, which surrounds you the moment you step into the lobby. Our room looked over the tennis courts, equestrian facilities and beach, and each evening we received the gift of a beautiful sunset. Our king room was efficiently laid out with a small sitting area to the side of our comfortable king bed. The bath was clean and well-maintained, with a combination tub and shower typical of European hotels with a half door to shield the room from shower spray, a luxurious rain shower head and handheld shower head. The tub is raised and requires a big first step; use caution and find handholds to support yourself on the way in and out. We were served elegant meals with impeccable service at their restaurant and enjoyed the fresh air and sun with lunch on the patio. All of the hotel staff provided great hospitality throughout. Thank you to all at the Hotel Barriere Le Normandy Deauville. We hope to see you again soon!

Staying at Hôtel Le Normandy was an incredible experience and, for me, one of my favorite hotels in Deauville. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, with a classic, elegant, and timeless atmosphere that makes the stay feel very special from the moment you arrive. The room was very comfortable and beautifully designed, with a lovely sea view that made the experience even more memorable. Everything felt refined, well maintained, and perfectly in line with the charm of Deauville. The breakfast was also one of my favorite hotel breakfasts. The quality, the variety, and the overall setting made it a great way to start the day and added a lot to the stay. Overall, I really loved my experience at Hôtel Le Normandy. Between the beautiful hotel, the elegant atmosphere, the sea-view rooms, and the excellent breakfast, it’s definitely a hotel I would highly recommend if you’re staying in Deauville.

We visited Le Normandy a week ago. Our rooms were directly over a loading area where trucks delivered merchandise early in the morning. The noise was not pleasant! Also, my room had a horribly dirty desk chair and carpet. While the initial appearance of the hotel is elegant, the rooms are somewhat worn and weathered. Also, I hosted a family dinner. The restaurant did not have Chablis wine. The food and service were mediocre at best. I ordered a chocolate cake for my cousins birthday, and they served a candy with candle. The only positive comment that I can offer is that the breakfasts were lovely! Otherwise, very disappointing!

We obviously arrived at a busy time and so no-one greeted us in the lobby. The reception desk was empty. Eventually someone arrived but just ignored us and started doing something on the computer. I addressed her and she looked surprised. I said that no-one was helping us to which she replied that her colleague would come shortly. Eventually with still no-one helping us, she started checking us in. Then her colleague came and took over. She was very efficient and showed us to our room. The luggage came quite quickly thereafter. However, we had the worst night's sleep ever - even the overnight Brittany Ferries was quieter and more comfortable. There was a baby screaming incessantly in the next room. By 23.00hrs it was unbearable; we phoned downstairs and they basically said there was nothing they could do. The crying from next door had been going on for > an hour at this stage and we wanted to go to sleep. 20 mins later a manager called and offered to move us. We were already in bed and didn't really feel like getting dressed and packing all our stuff at 23.30hrs. They should have moved the crying baby. The manager offered us to stay an extra night for no charge - a pretty worthless offer as most people staying only one night will have travel plans. It would have been a much more appropriate offer to give us a refund or a partial refund for the > Euros 500 that we paid for the sleepless night. Not even a courtesy bottle of cider on checking out! Nothing. We had to sleep with ear plugs in and even then, I was wide awake from 05.30hrs with the crying baby in the room next door. The baby was still crying when we checked out at 11.30hrs. It was just horrible. We went for a drink in the bar after dinner and sat there for 15 mins, but no-one served us so we gave up and went upstairs to bed. Basically it is a big hotel that wants to be grand, but the service is terrible and the noise is awful. It wasn't just the screaming baby; doors slamming in th

What a disappointment - on a beautiful evening in April we had a drink on the terrace at the Normandy Hotel. For €25 euros for a glass of Sancerre you expect good service but no - the service was terrible. It took 45 minutes to get served and when the drinks arrived they told me they had run out of Sancerre - they palmed me off with a glass of Chablis. It took 40 minutes just to get the bill by which time my family had all left - I was left on my own. If I had not mad a fuss I would still be there waiting for my bill. I think most of the staff were new.

This is a beautiful hotel and staff was accommodating. I can’t give 5 stars because the prices didn’t equal the amenities. An example is 24 euro for glass of wine. 40 euro for cheeseburger.
