Chateau d’Issan was an absolutely amazing experience! My host, Laura, was so sweet and clearly so passionate about the chateau. She was such a great host walking us around the property, to the vines, through the fermentation room and to the barrel rooms before leading our tasting. The tour was incredibly informative and detailed on the unique perspective and techniques that Chateau d’Issan has. I tried three different vintages. All of which were amazing and all of them unique in their own way. I high recommend an experience at the chateau!

We had a tasting and visit, guided by Laura, who was very welcoming and provided a lot of interesting facts about the fascinating history of the 1626 chateau, as well as about the vines and vinification. We were the only two people, and it was great to have a private tour. We tasted the 2017 Chateau d'Issan and Blason d'Issan, both great quality wines. Warmly recommend to visit when you are in the Médoc!

We had a tour during the Margaux festival at Chateau d‘Issan and although the tours where only in English our guy Marion did also translate the tour for us in English! Marion made our stay there very special and she explained everything thing about the Chateau and its wines perfectly and interesting! The wines at Chauteau d‘Issan are definitely one of our favorites!

great impromptu tasting session in the late afternoon at this place. staff was nice to accommodate us after their scheduled tours. first and second labels were both nice! plus and bonus point was that we did not need to pay. so nice of them to entertain us!

Amazing experience. We were welcomed by Alexandre who gave us a highly qualitative and nice visit. He made it easy to understand and didactic for us who are not high connaisseurs. Beautiful château and got the chance to taste their beautiful chateau d Issan and blason d Issan 🤩❤️ and it was splendid! Highly recommend you to stop by and enjoy the visit

Our visit to Château d’Issan was nothing short of extraordinary. Of all the visits and tastings we experienced during our time in Bordeaux and the Médoc, this one stood out above the rest. Laura struck that rare balance of being informative without ever feeling scripted—sharing history, winemaking insight, and thoughtful detail with genuine enthusiasm. It was clear to us that she doesn’t just know wine—she lives and breathes the spirit of the château. We loved our time so much, we’re already planning to return in November with a small group for a more in-depth tasting. We sincerely hope to see Laura again—her presence was a true highlight of our visit and a reflection of everything that makes d’Issan so special.
