We had found this while looking for a good breakfast spot. This didn’t disappoint. All items we got were excellent. The coffee eclair and strawberry tart were very good. The iced coffee was tasty and refreshing during this heat wave. I would highly recommend!

Love this bakery. All the sweet and savoury goods are incredible and baked fresh. It’s hard to choose what to eat honestly. Also right in the centre on the pedestrian street, which makes it a great place to chill and people watch. I wish their coffee was better though as I was disappointed by it. It’s also machine coffee.

This is something special in Strasbourg. Pastry is simply gorgeous. Bread is another dimension of taste! Bread is so fresh and crunchy, and soft inside. I can’t explain how I liked bread from here. That one with nuts is kind of I have never eaten before. Definitely save it on a map to visit again!

By far the best patisserie we could find in Strasbourg. We made the 1km walk necessary to breakfast here each morning. No need to mention individual items like croissant, eclair, foccacia, baguettes, tarts, quiche or kugelhupf. Each and every thing we tried was superb. Coffee is on par with the best coffee houses. Service is quicker than you can make up your mind and servers are welcoming. There may be a line out the door of this patisserie when you walk up. Never fear. Get into that line.

Our daughter discovered this patisserie on TikTok or somewhere else on social media. Since we were passing by here anyway on our way back from the Cave des Hospices, we picked up some “sweet treats” to go, which we later enjoyed at a rest stop in Marmoutier. The selection is huge, and everything looks delicious. We had a Guglhupf, a filled croissant, a snail pastry, and a cheese pretzel. The sweet pastries were superb, as they usually are in France (and Italy), though you can also find them in the surrounding area—albeit of comparable quality. But I was surprised to find that even the pretzels in Strasbourg are better than in Germany.

L’Atelier 116 is honestly one of those places that hits you the moment you walk in. The smell of fresh pastries alone is enough to make you stop and just stare at everything. The selection is impressive😍😍 everything looks fresh, colorful, and way too tempting to choose just one thing. The pastries are genuinely delicious, especially the flaky, buttery ones that feel like they were made that same morning. Coffee is solid, nothing fancy, but it does its job perfectly alongside the food. The vibe is busy and energetic, sometimes a bit chaotic, but in a good “this place is popular for a reason” way. You might wait a bit, but once you get your order, it feels worth it. it’s more of a lively, fast-paced bakery where you grab something amazing and enjoy it on the go or outside. Overall, a place that doesn’t just serve pastries .it kind of makes you excited about food again.

Met by accident, the noticeably longer queue compared to other nearby bakeries made me curious. And yes, it was worth the wait. The pastries were seriously delicious, and the smoked salmon croissant was a highlight — flaky, buttery layers with generous salmon and perfectly balanced flavor. It definitely feels like one of those popular local spots for a reason. If you see the line, just join it. There’s small tables outside the shop and small counter bar for 5-6 persons inside. I hit this place 3 days in a row. 🧡🥐

Did see some good reviews and wanted to try. And there was queue waiting to get in. Not much space to dine in but worth the wait (in the cold). I finally settle my mind on few items: Madeleine: super Ham and cheese pretzel: generous filling Rubis: Genoese biscuit (French sponge cake), crispy homemade Gianduja, raspberry compote and milk Cho mousse. Just melt in your mouth And a coffee to go (was average) but the food 👌🏽
