We’ve dined in possibly 4 Michelin star restaurants over the past 6 months and Maison Nouvelle was my favourite! The food was amazing, particularly the signature dish. I recommend coming a little earlier than your reservation to experience the bar, that was a fantastic start. The staff are great, my one tiny critique would be that they’re not as engaging as other restaurants we’ve been to. I understand English isn’t their first language but we’ve had more engaging experiences abroad so we had a slightly higher expectation. This is proper French cuisine and the vibe is homely. All in all, a great experience and excellent food.

I was expecting something a bit more show off, pretentious, by a Chef doing a lot of TV… And how wrong I was… You can literally feel the consistency, and emotions, all along the experience, accompanied by a professional and friendly service, in a nice house setting in the heart of Bordeaux. The raviole, the Chef’s signature, by itself, is worth the visit and so much tasteful. But everything else was great too, and I love being so wrong about a place: the two Michelin stars are definitely deserved and Maison Nouvelle one of the best refined cuisine place in the region.

One of the best meals I’ve ever had, likely best Michelin restaurant I’ve tried; I’ve been to quite a few including 2 others in Bordeaux. The dinner was a pleasant, refined, delicious, and luxurious experience. Big kudos to the staff who told the story of each meal so passionately and elegantly. The sommelier was super charming with the wine stories transporting us behind the thought of every wine pairing. The food was art on the plate and in the mouth. The initial drink downstairs before being seated was a nice touch that set the mode for the evening. The quick greeting with the chef at entry was very thoughtful. All in all, the restaurant invites you to take in the pleasure, slow down and enjoy. It was a memorable evening.

🔔 From the moment you ring the doorbell you are treated as a very special guest. The entire 3.5 hour experience is inspiring, creative and beautifully orchestrated. The whole team is friendly and professional. The atmosphere is a warm and stylish dreamscape 🪄 ✨

5.0 Grant and Dunne Styling Bar (Grant & Dunne)

This was probably the greatest experience I’ve ever had in a restaurant. It was quite long though just to warn people it will take up to five hours to eat there, but the experience is incomparable. Food, presentation, wine. And the amazing staff was Beyond reproach. Highly recommended but again will take between three and five hours to eat there, but it seems like it flies by and every bite is worth it. i’ve never seen a presentation of food like this in any restaurant whether it were in America, France or other countries. Again an experience you need to have.

Loved the vibe, interior, and atmosphere! Amazing food and very creative presentations for the dishes! Very friendly and accommodating staff! Nice touch getting a pre-dinner little drink with the chef! Very decently priced for a Michelin star restaurant! Totally worth the visit if you want a nice dinner in Bordeaux!

The intention, style, delicacy, and balance of every meal was not lost on us and very appreciated. The essence of mushroom, onion, Cornish hen, cabbage, grapefruit, chocolate, etc. was so well represented and refined. The wines selected for each dish was a perfect pairing, complementing the flavors without overpowering. Sincerest thanks to Matthew the sommelier, chef, and staff, for one of the best meals I’ve ever experienced. If they do not receive at least two Michelin stars this year then I would be very shocked. Merci boucoup!
