The receptionist, who is from Indonesia, was extremely helpful and promptly resolved my booking issue. She also introduced us to a great restaurant and assisted with our late checkout request.
Of course this is a clean and modern hotel. But at the price/night they charge, i would expect more than the standard business hitel room. And putting more than one coffee machine in the breakfast room would avoid long waiting lines of cafeine addicts.
Excellent stay overall. The hotel is modern, clean, and well-maintained, with a sleek design that feels comfortable and efficient. The rooms were quiet and relaxing, and everything felt organized and easy from check-in to check-out. The location is also a big plus—convenient for getting around Marseille, and especially great if you’re heading to the Prado/Velodrome area. Staff were professional and helpful, which made the stay even smoother. A reliable, high-quality hotel in Marseille that I’d happily stay at again.
This hotel is not up to par with the other AC properties I have visited. The rooms are very basic, the amenities are lacking, and the linens are bordering on cheap, and the street noise is quite bad. Based on all of these factors, this property is disappointing and way overpriced!
I can’t believe this hotel is a four-star property under Marriott. If negative scores were allowed, I’d give the lowest. 1. The website shows that the hotel has parking. After struggling through Marseille’s maze-like roads, I finally arrived, only to find no visible parking lot and no idea where to leave my car. I had to park in a random corner, risking break-ins, before going to the front desk to check in. 2. The front desk was extremely inefficient. A long line formed behind me, yet there was still only one staff member. When another finally arrived, the first one left immediately. When it was my turn, I asked about parking. All I got was “P6 parking lot,” but no explanation of the actual process. 3. I eventually found P6 — an open-air parking lot, empty and insecure, with no dedicated hotel parking spaces. 4. The next morning I went to the front desk again to ask about the parking ticket. The staff disappeared into the back office and came out with a printed QR code, telling me to use it to exit the lot, then pay at the hotel front desk. The website said €20 per day, the parking lot itself displayed €22 per 24 hours, yet the hotel charged me €23. What’s worse, they insisted on charging me immediately, even though I still had another night booked — and they even tried to process my check-out on the spot. 5. At the parking lot, the QR code didn’t work at the gate. The parking lot attendant told us to exit through the entrance gate, no ticket needed. We reluctantly drove out. Later, when we came back, the attendant said there was a match and we couldn’t park there. I asked where we should park, and he said “at the hotel.” He then kindly walked us over to the hotel’s private parking entrance (note: this was the first time I realized the hotel actually does have its own parking lot, with empty spaces inside). But when I tried my room card, it didn’t work. The attendant called the hotel for us — at first they simply hung up when they heard it was about parking. After s
Stayed here at the beginning and end of our cruise. Great location and amenities. Food was delicious. Had the shrimp dish the first night, pizza and french fries poolside on the second stay. Pool and pool area was clean and we'll maintained. Only suggestion would be a hot tub.
Really not bad! Rooms are modern, front desk was extremely kind. Parking 22€ per night and right around the corner in a secured area outside.
My wife and i have stayed at Marriotts all over the world. This has been our least favorite Marriott so far. The location is really only good if you’re into soccer and there for a game. The rooms look recently renovated, but not in a nice way. Hard spring bed that was awful to sleep on. Shower wasn’t nice or good. No where to fill up our water bottles with normal water. Just room temperature water with lemon and lime available in the lobby. The food prices were expensive and nothing on the menu was appealing to us. It was impossible to find food near the hotel before 7pm at night. Bad options for room service. The women that worked the front desk were nice and gave us great service.
