I stayed at Residence France Riviera with my girlfriend for 4 days. ||The offering, the room and its amenities was all very basic, but that was also point since this is a budget place. I was very happy the cleanliness, soft sleeping sofa, tiny table for meals and "working desk". Water pressure in the shower was excellent and water worked perfectly. The kitchenette contained the necessary basics to cook a meal. We saved a bunch cooking our breakfasts and picnic/lunchpacks at home. Carrefour, a very good grocery store, is 50 meters down the street. Just next to the building I found a lovely little bakery where I had early morning coffees. Finally and best of all, even at the bargain price, this place is located next to the beach. A simple 25 meter walk and you are at Promenade Des Anglais, the beach boulevard. Nice city center and old town is very close, 10 minutes walk along the beach. Our room was facing the courtyard which was very quiet. The free wifi Internet was fast and reliable, we used it for work.||||Highly recommended for a stay in Nice on a shoestring budget, if you are looking for a clean and safe no-frills place that delivers.

A short distance from Nice and also close to some wonderful drives nearby. Our English hosts were most welcoming and have very comfortable rooms, recently decorated, the large garden to the rear has comfortable seating. Breakfasts of a high standard. The location is very convenient for either a trip into Nice and beyond, or to the many hilltop villages nearby. Our favourite is Levens as it has the restaurant La Fourchette, with its amazing Charolais beef. But there are many to chose from and the Ski resorts are only an hour away. The prices are very reasonable too.

Perfect price/quality rate. The residence is close to Nice Ville train station. The seaside and the famous promenade d'anglais can be reach in five minutes by foot. The residence is clean, the staff kind and helpful, especially the blond woman who was so kind with us. The room is good, you have a lot of space for your stuff and also the kitchen is modern and provided with al the basic things you need to cook.||You also have air conditioning and free wifi in all the building for free.|| In the area you will also find supermarket, bar and restarurant. You can reach many parts of the city by using the bus.||I definitely recommend this residence.

My friend and I found this apartment style hotel after spending approximately 35 minutes at a terrible hostel. Finding this hotel saved our vacation! The staff is extremely friendly, the building is beautiful, the rooms are simple but clean. It is also a 2 minute walk from a grocery store, many restaurants, and the lovely beach! We loved our stay here, and will definitely stay here again if we return to Nice.

Where do I start. So when I first arrived, I couldn't enter the residence because it was Sunday and no one informed me how to enter the building. I then get inside by the help of a kind man. I get my room in the 5th floor, small room with mold on the walls. And the best thing ever: Mold next to my bed! Then I kindly ask, if there was a possibility to switch rooms because sleeping next to mold is gross. The woman rudely denies my request due to availability - understandable. However, the way she cut me off mid sentence was very rude. They then sent someone to clean the mold, my room was covered in chlorine, smelling like that for two entire days. Then the elevator stops working, in the 5th floor - very inconvenient. There was a girl stuck in the elevator for several hours and no one could help her. The ac also broke down at multiple times which was just great because it was 37°C in the highest floor. I don't know, there was much wrong with the residence. All the apartments were renovated up until the 5th which is super unfair that they request the same price. I don't know, but it made my whole memory of Nice miserable. Didn't enjoy my stay there. Definitely would not recommend.

We stayed in this hotel for a week and it was good. The room was pretty small but clean. We had all we needed. Fridge, oven, microwave, dishes etc. There are few stores close to the hotel and it's one minute away from the beach. It's a little far from the city center but you can easily get there by bus (they come every 5 minutes) if you're tired of walking but it's really nice to walk down the promenade so i recommend just take a walk :)

We were travelling on a budget but didn't want to go to a hostel so we stayed here and I'm happy we did. The staff was really friendly and helpful, the rooms were small but cozy and the location was perfect: 2min walk from the beach, grocery store right next to and to the center 1km. ||||Good value for your money!

Ideally situated, 3 minutes from the beach and just next to the stop of the new tram line connecting the airport to the city center. Very nice and friendly staff. Rooms may look small for some (they are actually quite common-sized French city studios), but how much time do you spend in a room during the summer vacation anyway? Our room was well equipped and well sound-proofed. Stayed there multiple times and wold come again. Note that these are rather rental apartments than a hotel, so don't expect room service with champagne in the middle of the night (although you'll likely have proper glasses in the kitchen and there is a supermarket just around the corner), or a daily towel change. Ask the staff if you would like to have your room cleaned or to get a new set of towels/sheets, I'm sure it can be arranged with some extra.
