HANGIST

I needed a locksmith after we caught two women trying to break into our apartment (on our video doorbell). I found Hangist based on the great Google reviews. The owner was able to come within 2 hours, changed the lock quickly with a fair price and overall was very knowledgeable about the door, safety, etc. He also speaks perfect English. Would highly recommend!

An excellent locksmith in Paris: skilled, patient… and quite cheap. I asked for copies of some keys that were not produced any longer and no one still had them in stock. He found replacement parts that work very well — it took a while to get to that point, but he never gave up until I had a solution to my problem (and didn't ask me to pay more for his trouble).

Honestly, if you’ve ever needed a locksmith in Paris - you know the nightmare this can be: From exorbitant prices to frequent scams and what not, it can be extremely tiring and intimidating. Luckily, I found these guys. I had an issue with the lock at the place I’m staying at and needed to replace the entire thing, which, let me say, was not cheap! I tried multiple locksmiths before them, and all I got were vague answers about the fix, sketchy deals and ridiculous quotes. I could have cried of relief when I first spoke to François - perfect English, incredibly attentive, very knowledgeable and super honest. Price was fair too. I had about 100 questions and he answered each one extensively, always ready to help and provide more information. My door is perfect now thanks to their great service: friendly, quick and efficient! Very happy to have found them! Thank you, guys :)
