I will rate Hospices Civils De Lyon a five star not because they made us wait for a long time (which they did). Me and my husband along with our 1 year old were travelling in Europe, mostly France when my little one contacted gastroenteritis. She had a fever of 105 degree Fahrenheit and was vomiting incessantly and was passing green stools. She had no appetite and had passed out in the middle of the night when we called SAMU. After some deliberation with the lady at the other end of the phone in broken French I could explain that my daughter had very high temperature and had fallen unconscious. We were taken to Hospices Civils De Lyon where after some waiting and administering of ORS a Doctor C Braun attended to us. We were explained patiently that this was an ongoing issue in the area and many children were suffering from it and though our baby was so small yet she was trying to fight the infection. Although she took almost a month to go back to her normal diet, I will never forget how the Hospices Civils De Lyon helped us overcome the emergency.

People are cooperative and few speaks English as well. But I had to do a lot of follow-up for getting my work done.

HCL LYON SUD Il y a 2 jours, Fracture Multiple Clavicule, humérus & homoplate droit, Il m’on mis une attelle et m’on renvoyé chez moi, je suis actuellement en souffrance quand j’appelle les urgences et la réponse donner est la suivante.. Rappeler plus tard à ce numéro. Le numéro que j’ai appeler m’a dit mot pour mot que c’etais pas leur problème, Que je devais patienter car ce n’est pas urgent… Entrée à 19h sorti à 23h30 pour 2 radio+visite des chirurgien pour me dire qu’il faut que je rentre chez moi sans transport, donc 2h à pied J’ai super mal mais askip ce n’est pas urgent alors que mon grand père qui avais seulement l’humérus et l’homoplate de cassez il l’on opérer en urgence !! A fuir malheureusement les lieux où il faut se soigner sinon le personnelle sur place étais gentil, mais je pense pas assez présent
