Avis
We hadn’t planned to stop here, but the buttery smell drifting through the street made the decision for us. Tucked away just a few blocks from the busier parts of Nice, DØM Bakery was exactly what we were looking for: a proper French bakery — unpretentious, local, and seriously good. The aroma alone was enough to draw us in, and once inside, we were greeted by a display of perfectly golden croissants, crusty loaves, delicate fruit tarts, and pastries that looked like they belonged in a magazine. Everything felt incredibly fresh — like it had just come out of the oven. We picked up a warm croissant (flaky, crisp, and melt-in-your-mouth), some olive bread, and a couple of madeleines. Everything was delicious. Even better, the prices were more than reasonable — most items under €3 — which made going back for seconds feel totally justified. The vibe inside was calm and welcoming, with locals popping in for their daily bread and no tourist crowds in sight. If you’re looking for a relaxed, authentic bakery experience in Nice, especially near the old town, DØM is the kind of spot you hope to stumble upon — and we’re glad we did. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Food: ★★★★★ Atmosphere: ★★★★★ Service: ★★★★★ Value for money: ★★★★★ Location: ★★★★★
Pastries and all baked goods looked amazing!!! Also had veryyyy nice small portion take away pizzas perfect for beach day and looked amazing! Very good priced
A nice little place for a quick meal, sandwiches, wrap, desserts...
This great bakery is conveniently located close to central Nice. The croissant with cheese and ham warmed up tasted amazing and the staff were amazing. Would come here again when in Nice!
Got take away for breakfast and lunch to pic-nic around Nice. Amazing bread. Great sandwiches. It's a Bakery.
Chocolate croissant was good, but the pizza was not. It was very oily and did not have much flavor other than the oil. The service is also no good. The woman handed me the pizza cold and when I asked her to warm it up she seemed annoyed that I asked.
Stop by to get some Pain au Levain. Love the bread here and price wasn’t expensive like those near the train station. Good choices and friendly
Sandwiches, bread, Pains Aux Raisins, Blette were all really good. Madeleine creamy, buttery, inside soft, outside bit crunchy, like a layer of baked sugar. Quiche Lorraine delicious, although after few hours water dripping.
