This is another story of many that I've lived in Relais&Chateaux hotels. And I keep insisting because many of those are whortwhile. This, on the other hand, despite some positive remarks, remains a disappointment. Especially regarding the price charged for what the hotel delivers. First of all, the hotel is beautiful. I need to express that. It is in a good location, in front of a beautiful lake, close to Annecy but away from the city center. Our room was also beautiful, with a huge bathroom and a gorgeous bathtub. Upon reading that people may ask what is wrong with such a marvelous property. Yes, there are a lot of things that could be better. The upside details can be found in many reviews and at the hotel's website. First of all, the restaurants. There are two here. One two stars Michelin, that can be amazing but it would be a disaster if we took our 4 year-old daughter to dine there because it is a 3:30h menu. The other one, with no stars, but as per one employee's word of mouth "soon to be, hopefully" is a disaster. Service and food were both disastrous. At Le ROC there are only a handful of choices and they simply could not make something to a child other than pasta. I know, this is a fancy restaurant, but if you allow kids you have to be prepared. My review for this restaurant specifically can be found on the restaurant review space. But breakfast, once again disastrous. At a rate of 37 euro per person per day all you could have as fresh fruit was apples, pears and oranges. And it repeated itself every single day for the four nights we spend here, with products being put at the buffet for 4 straight days. But this is not the worst. Eggs... Supposed to be a cheap food. Only scrambled eggs were included at the price. If you wanted an omelet, or a simple fried egg, you had to pay extra. Despite the good quality of the products and very good vienoasserie, this was a major disappointment. Room service. Also a problem. It is only available during restaurant ho

This is hands down the best hotel I've ever stayed at. The place is beautiful, the views are stunning and the staff cannot be friendlier and more helpful. They really made our trip special, so thank you all! Also, indulge yourself at La Table. It's by no means cheap but it's all worth it for the amazing food, excellent wine recommendations (thank you Tommy) and the fun service

Great location for this boutique hotel on the shores of the lake. Most of the rooms have a great view, and the furniture is classic and modern. Very roomy bathroom. The hotel is the best way to enjoy the amazing restaurants on the first floor. Plenty of activities available (rent a bike for visiting the market in Annecy), massages by the lake, sauna and much more. Excellent service at the reception.

La Maison Bleue is an incredibly beautiful hotel right on the Lac d‘Annecy. The owners have made an outstanding effort to extend the specific design through all aspects of the hotel and its restaurants, from furniture to tableware, surprising elements throughout the property and even the uniform of the staff and the cases in which room service carries their equipment-there is an incredible eye for detail. Staff is exceptionally friendly and attentive, all without creating a stiff atmosphere. Both restaurants are excellent and have a beautiful atmosphere, and the dinner at the La Table is truly an outstanding experience not to be missed! A beautiful touch at check out is that you not only receive a copy of the menu but a bound book, including the menu, photos, information as to where ingredients are sourced and more. (Plus water for the trip, 2 cakes-one gluten free🙂). The lake is directly accessible from a pier with sunbeds and there is a small private dock for boats. The area is great for hiking and biking and bikes are available at the hotel. Highly recommend and will be back.

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights during our honeymoon trip around France and it was incredible. As most places are, it’s even better than the pictures! The staff was friendly and attentive, the hotel and lakefront was gorgeous, and breakfast at Le Roc was delicious. The true star of the entire weekend was dinner at the 2 Michelin star restaurant by Yoann Conte. It was unlike anything we’ve ever experienced from the food & wine, to the professionalism of the staff, and it was so cool to see the owners (Chef Yoann and his wife Elodie) there working alongside the team. You could see that everyone worked together beautifully to create this production. We are missing all of it very much already. We can’t wait to come back!!

Fabulous hotel with perfect service. We were celebrating an occasion, and the team delivered a personalized welcome and celebratory gifts. Amazing outdoor amenities - the jacuzzi is not to missed. Thank you so much for making our time in Lake Annecy so enjoyable. We will be back!

Everything about La Maison Bleu feels like vacation. The property is positioned with stunning views of Lake Annecy. Many places to sit, relax, and read with great views. The junior suite thoughtfully appointed, with a luxurious bathroom and robes, and impeccably clean. The concierge Thibeau is one of a kind, he and the rest of the staff make you feel extremely comfortable and taken care of and accommodate any request you may have. So many details make the stay feel high class — welcome drinks on arrival, the Nordic sauna and jacuzzi, turn down a service, and more… the e-bikes are perfect for doing the tour du lac - about 40km around Lake Annecy. Breakfast is an additional fee but it is a feast and absolutely delicious. Dinner at Le Roc feels like a Michelin quality experience (it’s the sister restaurant to the two-star). We can’t wait to return!

Beautiful property with three star Michelin restaurant. Our room was lovely and the dinner was amazing- fabulous food beautifully presented, lovely staff and wonderful atmosphere. Each wooden table had a mountain relief in the middle, with a tiny mountaineer ascending the slope. Each dish was illustrated by a card set in a small, carved mountaineer on the table. (See photos).
