As an Australian tourist that doesn’t speak much French, I was a bit nervous about going to the doctor, but Dr Chadoutaud was very kind, thorough in his examination and gave me clear instructions with the medication. I didn’t have an appointment, but only waited about 5 minutes. The price was reasonable too.

It was easy to make an appointment. There was no waiting when I got there. I'm English speaking and the doctor was very conversant. He was thorough, ordered lab tests and explained the results to me. I found him very approachable and caring. Highly recommended.

I visited Dr. Chadoutaud after arriving in Antibes only 3 months prior. I didn't yet have my Carte Vitale so I paid full price at each visit. Fair enough. What I didn't like was that I had to keep coming back to his office. He would prescribe different medications after each visit. I ended up feeling poisoned and sick from so many different medicines! After my fourth visit in as many fortnights I asked to be referred to a lung specialist and Dr. Chatoudoux's réponse was "I want to try one more thing" (really? - is this that much of a guessing game?) which turned out to be ineffective. Got to the lung specialist Dr. Monereau who knew exactly what to prescribe and my recovery was immediate. I had been sick for more than three months. I just was not impressed at all with Dr. Chadoutaud. He was too busy talking about his diplomas and worrying about water stains on his antique leather desk.

Good generalist doctor, who speaks English. Meetings only by appointment and thru this no or just a little of waiting time. (max 5 minutes) I can strongly recommend him. Good doctor!
