The most beautiful part of the city! Enchanting. If you haven’t seen Petite France, you haven’t seen Strasbourg. You should, however, take a close look at the map beforehand. It’s more winding than you might think, and you might miss sights worth seeing, such as the Pont Couvert. Once you’re there, just take a leisurely stroll across the bridges and through the alleys. You’ll feel like you’ve been transported to a fairy-tale town. Plan on spending at least an hour to an hour and a half there.
A beautiful area to visit. No need for a tour guide. Make sure to vost the hydraulic swing bridge built in 1888.
Really beautiful place. I was interested in visiting this place after reading about Studio Ghibli. Of course Colmar was the main inspiration, but Strasbourg had a second place in there too. Really enjoyed the view and the architecture.
La Petite France is absolutely stunning and a must-see when visiting Strasbourg. The half-timbered houses, canals, and cobblestone streets make it feel like stepping back in time. The area is full of charm, with plenty of cafés and restaurants to enjoy, and every corner is picture-perfect. It’s very walkable, with beautiful views of the river and bridges. Even when it’s busy, the atmosphere is welcoming and worth the visit. Whether you’re exploring during the day or in the evening when the lights reflect on the water, it’s unforgettable. Highly recommend spending a few hours here to take it all in.
Very beautiful location with magnificent old architecture. Full of authentic culture. There are nice cafes around to enjoy the view
An amazing place, beautiful houses surrounded by the river flowing between them. Very pleasant walking and soaking the amazing atmosphere. Christmas 🎄 time is unique, but lots of people know that, . so the place is very crowded. Pick a restaurant or cafe to make your visit relaxed and tasty😉 Hope I've helped you. If I did, please press 👍
Visited Petite France and instantly felt like I’d walked into a fairy-tale village where the houses are cuter than I am. Cobblestone streets tried to steal my ankles, but worth it for the photos that make it look like I live a très aesthetic life. Half-timbered houses, canals, swans judging me—10/10. Perfect place to stroll, snack, and pretend you’re the main character in a European rom-com.
One of the best places I’ve ever visited, definitely worth the see. Great scenes and nature 🌸🌸
