Incredible, absolutely incredible! I’ve never had steak before that literally melts in your mouth. Probably the best I’ve ever had in my life. I’m not sure why a previous review said the portions were small. I couldn’t even finish my entree or dessert. The portions were very generous.
A nice spot to take a break with a glass of wine. While walking around Chartron, we discovered Chez Dupond. It’s a beautiful and elegant restaurant. It was mid-afternoon, so we didn’t eat—just relaxed with a glass of wine. Everything was very good.
Delicious, fairly priced, and a nice selection of wine by the glass. We'd go back again. Artichoke was a wonderful dish, as was the pork shoulder. Yummy! Only complaint is the tablet menu, because they don't have enough of them. We felt a bit pressured to order because they needed that tablet for other tables...😂
It is a lovely French Bistro with retro and warm decor. They serve our favorite classic French cuisine with some Spanish dishes on the menu. We had delicious fresh oysters (no.3, well- balanced and crisp), jambon platter (smoky chirozo and buttery iberico ham), veal cutlet picana (soft and savory), and creamy sweet ice cream. We also had a wonderful bottle of Margaux wine and a glass of refreshing smooth Sauternes dessert wine. Our waiter, Amid (not sure of the spelling) was so friendly and attentive!
I went there with a friend, first time, recommended by hotel, classic menu (souris agneau, beef cheeks, ...) with medium to high price, quality was ok, nothing to get crazy about but portion sizes were ridiculous small, we took croquettas, frog's legs, agneau, desert and few drinks. The bill was ok but we left hungry, I will rather pay more and have a larger portion, I'm not big and do not eat much but Chez Dupont was kind of a joke.
Food was fine but the 2 waiters were not friendly. As we all know, restaurants are not just about the food. It was late, maybe they were tired…who knows…regardless, it’s irrelevant as it’s unprofessional. We won’t be returning…we found a much friendlier place just further along the street.
A must-visit café! The menu is diverse and based on fresh local ingredients. Everything was super tasty, beautifully presented, and the service was excellent. We truly enjoyed the experience and will definitely come back!
We had a wonderful dinner at Chez Dupont. The highlight was their confit de canard, very tender and juicy. The waiters were very helpful, offering excellent wine pairings, for both dinner and dessert.
