A lovely authentic Lyon experience. They have menus which are great value for money. The place fills up quickly around 8pm so better reserve beforehand. As a vegetarian, I can recommend the goat cheese salad.

My husband and I discovered this restaurant while walking around Vieux Lyon. We’re glad we did! For our entrees, we had the Salad Lyonnaise and the Crispy Goat Cheese Salad. Portions were generous and both were very tasty. We had Magret de Canard a l’orange as our main. Very delicious, and it went well with the potato gratin. For dessert, we went for Creme Caramel and Raspberry Panna Cotta. Both were not too sweet, just right. A good way to cap off the meal. Service was also good. The gentleman who served us was attentive and spoke good English. The gentleman at the reception was nice and friendly too. The only downside was that it could get crowded at peak hours and tables are very close to each other. We didn’t mind though. It was a good dining experience overall.

Unfortunately the worst meal we’ve had in France. The food was mediocre, bland and not value for money. It’s the first time I’ve been so disappointed in a meal / experience. The service was slow too. The ingredients used for the food are not good quality either which made the dishes taste bland and we didn’t finish anything. Terrible wine too. The staff were very friendly though.

Great local food selection at reasonable prices, excellent service and lovely ambiance. I would not hesitate to recommend this bouchon for lunch.

A complete delight. A sample of Lyon's gastronomy that leaves you pleasantly surprised! and with a budget for everyone's pocket. The portions are just right and the taste goes without saying! I had the Lyonnaise salad and I loved it! As a side dish, I ordered the tripe (which is not to everyone's taste) and it was also incredible. And the dessert ended with something natural flavored with cinnamon. Great place! Of course, it is better to make a reservation.
