Had delivered a baby here. All the gynecology staffs were nice and caring but it lacks follow up service. I had a complication after my baby was born but they did not follow up with my symptoms. I finally got treated in another hospital but it was disappointing. The hospitalization rooms are nice with a panoramic view over the Rhone river. Food was okay.

My mom is currently hospitalized in this establishment. On the night of october 28 to 29, 2024 my mom, who's currently bed-ridden and can only go to the bathroom in a diaper, called in for intense burning in the crotch/butt area. She requested to see a doctor and continued to ask to see a doctor through the morning, through lunch, until finally two interns came to see here the following day on october 29th around 4pm. They diagnosed her with hemorrhoids and immediately notified the nurses to apply the appropriate ointment. Simple enough you might think. But not quite. At 5pm, mom had to call the nurse to inquire about the treatment which she had not yet received. The nurse who came to see her, told her that when the pharmacy would open at 6:15pm she would go get it and come back with it then. Mind you we're in a hospital. Long story short, that nurse never came back that evening. When visiting hours were over and I went home, I spoke with my mom at 8:45pm that evening and she still had not received the treatment she needed for something as simple as hemorrhoids.

My son visited de ER today and he received all the medical care with clear information and profesional attitude. He is studying abroad and he is very young. The doctors, nurses and administrative staff helped him so much in many ways. They understood he was a nervous, without family and with a lot of pain. Today he got appendix surgery and he is perfectly fine. I´m so grateful.

We were visiting Lyon from London and my partner became ill and in great pain on Christmas Eve. Some of the reviews here made us expect a bad experience at the hospital. In fact, the care received was faultless. No, we were not seen immediately but it did not take too long. The care was efficient and humane. We could not ask for more. We are deeply grateful to all the staff - thank you!

Worst hospital management ever. My mum got a meningitis, it took them three weeks to locate where the problem was. The doctors were aloof, the staff completely unprofessional. They gave my mum medication that made her hallucinate and had to changed when they realized it was wrong. My mum kept on complaining about her knee and they checked it only 2,5 weeks later and it was full of pus. She nearly lost her knee and her ability to walk because the first doctor did not know how to do a exam. Do go to another hospital if you are dispatched by the firefight like in our case!!!

My husband had a heart attack during our visit to Lyon. He was treated immediately and well in the emergency room, tests run, a cardiologist called, diagnosis confirmed, and the next morning, Dr Sylvain Ranc operated, repairing artery walls and inserting stints. The results were immediate and excellent. Upon return to the US, two doctors here examined the extensive report materials provided to us and we're very favorably impressed with the treatment and care my husband received. We are deeply and eternally grateful for the skills and care given by Dr. Ranc and by all who helped my husband at the hospital.

Terrible experience. I am sorry, I thought that English is considered a worlwide language. I have been waiting here for 5 hours already and I cannot expect such a slow waiting time for getting a blood test. Are you understaffed? Or staffed with overly nothing to do people. Because clearly, getting a “blood-analysis” test should not come with a waiting time for 5 hours. Please, I would rather ask the facilitator of hospitals organisation, that this is completey unacceptable in any country and any part of the world.

Went here after I was unable to get any appointments with an English speaking doctor on short notice. The staff were kind, compassionate and helped to explain my options to me and my partner.
