A lot of the operas that play here are disgraceful. Stanislas wouldn't allow that in his building

Impressive building outside, absolutely beautiful inside. Definitely get a ticket for a performance - easy to book online and very reasonably priced. The stunning auditorium and lyrical music of Nancy Symphony Orchestra make for a magical evening.
Gorgeous building and atmosphere, high quality productions of fantastic operas, many of which are not part of the never-changing canon of operas you've heard a hundred times. So there'll be always something new to discover! The musicians are usually top notch (that's coming from a professional classical musician), and the tickets range from expensive to so inexpensive, they might as well be free.
Beautiful place. Went there for a saturday morning concert/apero, great concept !
