The food was delicious and the staff super nice and kind. We had "Yassa we can", the national plate of Senegal, and "Koffi Olomide", a Congolese plate, plus beer, water and coffee. The inside of the reataurant is very colourful and aestheticly decorated, especially the walls. I don't really understood the huge teddy bears outside; however, the little bears made of African fabric inside on the ceiling are nice and funny. The food was really amazing, flavourful and original. If you're looking for something new and different, this restaurant is for you! When I come back to Lille, I'm definitely eating here again 😋

Great african restaurant at the heart of Lille, the food variety is great, the service even better and the drinks were great. I would recommend to anyone looking to have a good time. Make sure to make a reservation during the weekends, without one you are 99.9% sure of not having a seat especially if you are above two. As for the prices, not strange for african restaurants to be a little above the normal but I guess it’s because of the fees to bring in all those food stuffs from back home. Will visit again when I get the chance!

Amazingly run by 2 charismatic brothers, we wanted to love this place so much. Service was fantastic but the food was bland and expensive. We had some cocktails to start that were very good - roughly €10 each. They were also quite large portions which is good. Had the guacamole with plantains (roughly €7, was quite mushy and not distinct in taste), sweet potato fries (roughly €6, were great). Then had the famous mixed grill (a single portion) for €29.99. This was OK tasting but nothing stood out and the portions of meat were small for the price. It probably should’ve been only €20 at max. This place has so much promise and we hope that these minor things can be improved as we thought the hosts and atmosphere was amazing, and it’s clear they’re trying really hard.

Amazing atmosphere, great ambiance, Delicious finger-licking great food. Afro beats and others awesome music playing throughout the night. Truly couldn't find bad things but the little downside was the heat at night. Patiently waited for my food to be served and never paid attention to the warmth. Big shout out to Charlotte for her marvelous customer service, the whole team was fantastic

Delicious food and drinks. We got the sharing plate for two w/o fish, which was a good amount of food. Creative interior. The music was at one point a bit too loud, but it got adjusted later. Desserts were also yum and creative.

An interesting restaurant, this is an amazing gem hidden among the many restaurants in this area. Service is 5 stars and the food is amazing. The food arrived within minutes after ordering. What else would you need?

I was excited to try this place, and the food did not disappoint. It was full of flavor, with an interesting mix of tastes. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the ambiance was cosy and comfortable. Overall, a great experience—I’ll definitely be coming back.

Ate here with a friend in town this last week. The peanut beef was really good, but at 18€ it was also a tad expensive. The rice, veggies, and plantains are also good. Service was fast and friendly. I’d go back if I’m in the mood for African food!
