SERVICE DES FLANDRES

I liked the station in Lille. It was relatively clean and pretty easy to navigate, no complicated floors or escalators. I feel like it needs more seatings as it gets pretty crowded with travelers. There are many shops and kiosks around it and location is central.

Beware of your laggages and belonging here. As there is no security gate to check your ticket when boarding, thieves can easily get on the train and take your luggage before your trains depart. I got my luggage stolen here after I have put them onto the rack and went to my seat. Just make sure you stay with your luggage until your train departs to ensure noone can take it and leave. Painful experience for me. I wish they would have more security measures at this station.

Problematic metro in the morning (breakdowns), and when the train is late, you can find yourself waiting an hour or two or even longer.

A major international hub serving international travel from France, Belgium, Amsterdam etc. serves both TER and The high speed low cost OUIGO trains. Other fast trains (perhaps) like Eurostar and INOUI are served from the Lille Europe station just a stone’s throw away.

Loved this station, very busy but its quite nice so with police going around feels safe even with the sketchy characters around.

Gorgeous train and metro station right at the center in Lille. The P+R option is so incredibly convenient! Parked my car at Le Prés, took the metro to Lille Flandres and you just show your ticket at the P+R parking at the exit and that's it. Cheap and good! Coffee shops and food places available inside as well outside of the building.

Good train station close to Lille-Europe Station and Westfield Euralille. Trains were clearly displayed on the screens in the concourse. Caught my train to Kortrijk with ease.

Impressive architecture and modern train station. I really felt safe here because there were a lot of policemen protecting the area.
