Everything was perfect. Great with kids as well. They give Bocce balls to them if you ask and they can play Bocce while you eat at the park next to the outside seating area. Must eats are; anchovies, calamari and profiteroles.

We have revisited this place many times, and every time we can't stop talking about how amazing it is. First of all, the atmosphere and energy are marvelous. The beautiful piazza enhances the entire dining experience, and the excellent and friendly staff always recommend dishes that never disappoint. If you are planning your visit to Fred, make sure to order the calamari. With a pure heart, I can say that these are the best calamari we've ever had worldwide, even after experiencing many top restaurants. The fish is always fresh and deliciously prepared, and the wine is delightful as well. All dishes are made with top-quality, fresh, and local products, which adds even more to the positive overall experience. I would definitely recommend this place for dinner with family, friends, a date night, or any other occasion. Impeccable food with an amazing atmosphere and excellent, top-tier staff.

Delicious French seafood. Everything was very tasty. The prawn carpaccio, fried mullets and sole were my favourites. Not a cheap meal but I would still recommend.

Excellent on ALL levels. Elliott, our server and his team pampered us. The food was absolutely delicious :) Fresh fish with a wide variety to choose from. This is a MUST visit !

On top of my favorite restaurants list in Cannes. I took my parents here as it is an iconic sea food/fish spot. Everything was great! Really lovely and warm service. Food was perfect, my fritto misto one of the best I had - I have tried many in Italy ;) We took turbot and dorade - everything tasty and fresh. White wine was also a very good choice - Château Rasque. A must try ! At the end of the dinner a nice little touch - basket with fresh clementines and walnuts was offered. 100% recommended

absolutely amazing seafood, but the pacing of the dishes could be improved. we waited 40 minutes in between the appetizers and the main course. But other than that, amazing food, but be prepared that the bill will be pricey.

My family and I had dinner at Fred based on the recommendation of the concierge at Chateau St Martin and it was amazing. We had tuna tartar and fried calamari for starters as well as lobster with pasta. Then we had two drilled fish for mains with grilled vegetables. It was the best fish dinner we have ever had and that’s saying a lot because we are fortunate to be able to travel a lot to nice locations. Our servers were fantastic and I also got to meet Fred, the owner. He is a very friendly guy and drug me by the arm to the bar for a quick drink once we had finished and were leaving. It was the perfect ending to a great day. Thanks to Fred and his wonderfully trained staff.
