What a amazing place! Please do not change Maupiti to another Bora Bora. The place is AMAZING! Local community, friendly people, fantastic nature on land and in the water! I think whole community can do better that tourist can access more places to eat. Even with local families, it will be nice to join dinners with local family to cook and eat with them. The hike is fantastic! There is 2 ways to get there - shorter walk (with ropes) and longer walk (without ropes, just behind solar panel). I took way down longer trail and it was just amazing as shorter trail as it gives you views on other side of Maupiti. Thank you to local community to make me feel welcome and your smile and greetings make me feel so amazing on my holidays.

My favourite island of Polynesia. Just stunning lagoon and views

The island is beautiful, the hike to the summit garanties magnificent views. But it is very difficult for non French speaking guests to find hospitality on this island especially in the pricey pensions. We were never treated so unwelcome in whole French Polynesia than on Maupiti.

Maupiti is Bora Bora’s little sister Yes, these incredible shades of blue are real, probably the most beautiful lagoon so far!

I've been there years ago. People are wonderful, the main beach is a breathtaking place and the sand is so fine. I have a lot of school friends over there it was such a good time being with them. Be mindful when you got there
