A Masterclass in Parisian Dining A sublime start to our stay. Terra delivers an atmosphere that is as captivating as the cuisine. The service was conducted with a regal flair—attentive, polished, and quintessentially French. The duck à l'orange and the Angus beef were absolute revelations; the perfect, refined remedy for a weary traveler. An essential destination for anyone seeking a sophisticated and authentic evening in the heart of the Marais. Bravo.
We visited Terra Paris in June 2026 and had a very pleasant experience overall. The restaurant itself is beautiful, with a calm, relaxed atmosphere, and it was not crowded when we went. The staff were very polite and happy to assist us, which made the evening feel even more enjoyable. I usually check the menu online before visiting a restaurant, and unfortunately, the menu on site was different from the one I had seen online. Since I had already decided what I wanted to order, this was a little disappointing. That said, I visited their website again later that week and noticed that the menu had been updated, so perhaps it was very new at the time of our visit and they simply had not had the chance to change it yet. For starters, we ordered the Accras de Morue with jalapeño pickles and Dandan sauce, which was very tasty, although quite rich and a little heavy. We also tried the Momotaro tomatoes with mozzarella di bufala, ajo blanco, cherries, gomasio, and lovage oil, which, for me, was rather indifferent. For the main course, we had the Chuck Flap Black Angus with pepper sauce, fresh fries, and gochujang sauce, and it was truly delicious, tender, buttery, and full of flavour. The wine selection was also one of the restaurant’s strongest points, with some very nice Overall it was a pleasant experience but for the price point of the restaurant I would expect something better.
On the pricer side, but definitely worth it, especially if you’re into creative dishes with unique ingredients and combos you’ve probably never heard of. If you’ve got a simple palate, skip it. But if you’re like me and you love exploring new flavors, go!! I’ve been there 3 times already, and the menu was different each time - yet the quality of the food and level of detail in each dish never disappoints. The meat (no matter which one) is always perfectly cooked, so it’s a big YES for me and for all the meat lovers! Also, the cochon was incredible. I’m usually not a fan, but this one was perfectly marinated and crispy!! and they served it with grilled corn, smoky paprika popcorn, and a rich paprika jus. Suuuuper tasty! The croustillant au canard is a MUST if you go there and see it on the menu. The œuf parfait was probably the least impressive dish we’ve had. The owners are also super nice, they offered us Limoncello shots before leaving!
Heard so much good praise about Terra and it did not disappoint. Had the best meal to start our Paris holiday. The flavors , the presentation, the ambience, and the service were impeccable. We will definitely come back next time.
We had such a lovely experience at Terra. The food, service and space were incredible. They even did something special for my partner’s birthday. Still thinking about the dishes we had, 10/10 would recommend for a nice, local experience.
Went here by recommendation from Topjaw who I usually trust to deliver good local gems. Sorry to say but food was of very low quality, lacking taste, seasoning, depth and overall sloppy in terms of presentation. Considering the high price this restaurant is very much lacking in execution and service which was very uninspiring. There are FAR better places to go for less $. Would have given 1 stars if not for the relatively good wine selection.
We made a reservation based on online reviews. We were not disappointed! The steak was cooked perfectly. The wine was wonderful and the chocolate mousse was epic.
We have been to Terra many times, and it has been one of our favorite restaurants in Paris. However, this time we were disappointed with both the food and the service. The waitress was quite new and didn’t understand the menu well, which caused confusion when ordering. The food was very bland and overly sweet. The menu was also not what we expected, as it seemed different from what is mentioned on their website. Unfortunately, I don’t think Terra will remain on our list of favorite restaurants anymore. It’s very sad to see one of our favorite restaurants lose its quality.
