I had the pleasure of celebrating my birthday here with my wife. Firstly I must say every single staff member was so warm, welcoming and passionate. A laid back yet classy atmosphere. The restaurant was stunning, in a beautiful setting the kitchen was wonderful to see. The food was out of this world. Subtle and bold flavours at once and the ingredients clearly as fresh as they can be. Surprising combinations and outstanding presentation; it truly is the epitome of what a fine dining experience can be. Thank you to the team at Mirazur for hosting me, I hope I have the opportunity to visit again.

Dining being basically our hobby we have visited many restaurants in the complete star range. Mirazur was a journey we were looking forward to for quite some time. Unfortunately the expectations set by its own fame and the 3 stars were not met! A thick layer of fluff and padding surrounds what truly matters: the food. And in this aspect Mirazur is at best mid 2 star level. Only three courses from the whole menu truly shine but at this level this is simply not enough. The remaining courses either are too shy or extremely over the top unbalanced (and I love experimental cooking). It is hard to see why there is a 1.5 chefs to guests ratio at this restaurant.

One of the most beautiful restaurants I’ve been to. You can reserve to have a tour of the garden before dinner which I highly recommend. Menu changes often and has different themes. We tried roots which included carrots, beets and onions. Definitely a special occasion place.

I was incredibly fortunate to celebrate my birthday this year with my now-wife at this exceptional establishment. We made our reservations months in advance and also booked the chef’s garden tour, which was a wonderful addition to the experience. The hilltop view at sunset was absolutely breathtaking. The restaurant rotates its themes throughout the year based on seasonal ingredients. Our theme for the night was “Earth,” which highlighted a variety of root vegetables in creative and unexpected ways. The view overlooking the water is simply stunning, and each dish was beautifully presented with unique, well-balanced flavors. The service was, without a doubt, the best I’ve ever experienced. We’ve dined at several Michelin-starred restaurants, and this stands out as our favorite so far. There is also a private outdoor seating area down the stairs, where I proposed to my wife. With the twinkling lights and intimate atmosphere, it felt incredibly romantic—we were so caught up in the moment that we forgot to take any photos. This birthday was truly unforgettable—not just for the amazing food, remarkable service, and breathtaking setting, but because it was the day I got to officially call my girl my fiancée.

Deeply disappointing and not worth the cost We were really looking forward to our dinner at Mirazur and expected something thoughtful, beautiful, and memorable, especially at this level and price point. Unfortunately, the experience felt deeply disappointing from start to finish. The opening of the dinner felt strange and underwhelming. We were taken through what felt like a random gallery-style display and given a tiny sip of champagne through a rose with wax. Instead of feeling elevated or poetic, it honestly felt awkward, gimmicky, and cheap. We then started with the first course outside, which was forgettable and felt more uncomfortable than carefully considered. I also asked for a photo of my husband and me, and the staff seemed more annoyed than gracious. It felt like they were trying to rush us rather than letting us enjoy the moment. When we were finally seated for dinner, I was shocked by our table. Based on the photos and reputation of the restaurant, I expected a beautiful seat with a view. Instead, we were placed in a back corner looking out at a roof. For a nearly $1,000 experience, that should not be an acceptable seating option. I mentioned this, and they said they would try to move us, but no one followed up until the last course was already over and we were moving on to dessert. I had also let the restaurant know in advance that I was pregnant. The seat was uncomfortable, and after sitting there for hours I became increasingly antsy and uncomfortable. I eventually had to ask for a pillow myself, which felt like something they should have been attentive to, especially knowing ahead of time. I wish I could say the food made up for the seating and service, but sadly it did not. Many of the dishes were bland and lacked substance. Some we did not even finish. It often felt like we were eating mostly flowers with a bit of sauce, and both my husband and I were honestly perplexed. We have had many Michelin dining experiences, including Eleven Madison

While "storyteller cuisine" is not a style that is universally loved there are few Chefs thinking as deeply about nature as Mauro Colagreco, the Italo-Argentinian Chef and owner of Restaurant Mirazur overlooking the French Riviera. Named "best restaurant in the world" in 2019 and holding 3 Michelin stars for the past decade, the privileged location merely an added bonus for diners with a table near open windows, Mirazur’s concept focuses on the influence of the Moon and the planets on Plants and how they taste each day. Using an agricultural calendar based on biodynamics, each day seeing the kitchen focus on one of either roots, leaves, flowers or fruits, it is after a cordial welcome that diners first visit the kitchen before taking stairs to a room decorated in wood and natural stones. The father of “circular gastronomy,” and first Chef to be appointed a UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador, it is alongside Colagreco that some fifty people are responsible for everything from gardening to dish washing, and across the course of nearly three hours no less than half seemingly make an appearance either downstairs or tableside. Offered Champagne to start, a fair priced Wine list offered along with several heavy hitters, “Leaves” opening nibbles include a quintet of Tarts, Raviolis and Crackers all sourced from the Chef’s Garden with a focus on textures and freshness. Open since 2006, the same local Olive Oil and mother’s Bread offered to diners since then, the first of nine proper “courses” entails fresh Shrimp in White Bean Puree between Leaves of Navelwort while the follow-up goes airy with a cloud of Coriander hiding Orange-soaked Uni. A space well-suited to White Wine, the blend from Chateau de Pibarnon matching seasonal Citrus, hollowed spears of Puntarelle filled with Sardine thrive in Bagna Cauda before a carefully-topped Oyster and all the parts of Garlic served in such a way that none of it is overwhelming. Offered a second Loaf with hand-formed Butter and a story

The culinary experience was fantastic and worth all accolades this restaurant has received. Beautiful setting overseeing the chef’s gardens and the sea, a few steps away from the Italian border. The service is a bit below the rest but still, this place is a must-visit!

I really enjoyed my experience at Mirazur! What made this place stand out from other three Michelin places were its unique concept, stunning views, and immaculate attention to fine details - from the plating and subtle flavors to thoughtful touches like a coffee table book about the restaurant placed at my table, as I came in by myself. Through the book, I learned more about Mauro Colagreco’s generous spirit, and have heard other chefs mention how he encouraged them when they received their first star. I found these details, the restaurant’s mission and the fact that the sweeping views are shared by both guests and kitchen staff all very heartwarming and awesome! Highly recommend!
