After the initial etat de lieux when starting the contract, which recommended to change the insulation of the appartment, recommnedations were ignored. Winters were very cold and energy cost went to the roof (150+euros/month) as I had to add more heating in the place. During the rental, when it came to devices replacement like the fridge and freezer (which were old and damaging the floor of the house as they were draining water) were replaced smaller and lesser quality products. Which is not in line with the contract on maintaining the appartment as is. Hence affecting the living quality. When finalizing the contract, hidden fees were charged from 3 years back and without proof, after asking several times for it they never got back. They took 50% of my deposit for it, and without prior communication to prevent future charges, and affecting my expense forecast. They are good at communicating the yearly increase in rent, but when it comes to justify unknown charges from 3 years back, they just don't reply. Still waiting for the proof of charges made to my deposit from 2022, 2023 and 2024. Hope this helps to future tenants with the agency on what to expect from them.

Communication was efficient, keeping us informed of visits and interest, as well as advising us about offers. The process, from acceptance through to final signature at our Notary, was smooth and without stress. In all, we would recommend the agency, and Serena in particular, for real estate in Antibes.
