Is a good university in France, especially if you are an international student, the professors are generally good, the campus is comfortable and well equipped, and it’s a nice place to study business in Rennes and oerall, a solid option for studying in France with an international environment.
Worst school ever. I hated it and it was free for me so I can't imagine what the people who pay 15k per semester are feeling. Classes are boring, there is no interactive work. They just stand there for three hours and talk. I never had so much problem staying focused in uni and I'm doing my masters. Exams are a total joke. You'll focus on topic A for 80% of class and topic B for 19% topic C for the remaining percent and in the exam Topic C is worth 99% of the points. And after that administration bump down your grades if they think it's too high for the class average. I'm not joking. You get told in class you have 85% on a presentation but the grade you actually get is 60% bc administration didn't agree. Oh and the teacher tells you your work was awesome, perfect and everything and you get.. 80%? Furthermore they treat students as if we were in kindergarten. We were not allowed to go to the toilet during that one professors class. She would've marked us as absence. I got up one time during class to turn of the AC bc we were freezing. She yelled at me, because she thought I wanted to go to the toilet. Another professor yelled at a student and called her dumb for asking a question. He belittled her and then the whole class. My advice: Don't go.
As a student in the English track, after reporting several times that lectures were being taught in French with no improvement, I couldn't tolerate it anymore. And the reply I ultimately received was shockingly that "the program is designed and taught 'primarily' in English, so French instruction is not a violation." If a simple promise like '100% English' on your promotional website can't be kept and turns out to be fake, then what is real? I don't know if the staff member contacting me represents the unified mindset of the school, but if they do, that is truly terrifying. They completely do not believe they have done anything wrong. Just because you are in France, does that mean you can casually violate your own advertising? Where is your integrity and professionalism? I am extremely disappointed with this school. I felt no respect, it was just wasting my time, money and energy. Still waiting for their next email which could be another very funny one and all of my patience for them has been destroyed already by them.
I did an Erasmus semester here. There are some very good and friendly teachers, i liked that they all are multicultural and have their own teaching style. The lessons are fun and more about entertaining. They are also really easy compared to German university standards and the semester duration is quite short. Mandatory attendance; also some strict professors will not let you in if you are 5 minutes late, then you will receive an absence. The building is new and offers lots of extracurricular activities and there is a strong emphasis on the own appearance. Unfortunately, the canteen is overpriced; you actually pay three times as much as in the CROUS canteen for the same amount. And there's no guarantee of a lunch break. If you're unlucky, you'll have 11 hours and 20 minutes of lessons in a row with only a 10-minute break in between.

I studied there for a semester in 2018, and it was one of the most amazing experiences I had. The faculty, the students, and everything was great. I loved their approach towards learning and suffice to say, if someone ever gets a chance to study, they should accept it quickly. Also since Rennes is comparatively a smaller city, it has all the convenience of less traffic and amazing air.
The worst school I’ve ever dealt with. As an exchange student, they told me I could get housing through CROUS or Studapart, or in partner residences. I believed them and tried every single option they suggested — CROUS refused me (RSB isn’t even part of CMI Rennes), Studapart had nothing, private residences were all full months in advance. I sent multiple emails begging for help, and got nothing but silence or the same useless copy-paste answers. No support, no solutions, no responsibility. They advertise themselves as “international,” but in reality they leave exchange students completely stranded and desperate. If you’re thinking of coming here, don’t. Save yourself the stress, the wasted time, and the money. This school is all talk and no action.
Feel pleased and serene to leave my son behind. All the way from Asia we were introduced to their curriculum Since we have shown interest and register to actually starting the bachelor. We always had all the support needed. I m super impressed by the school , the admin team and the teachers from what I get from my son. Thanks and well done. Rennes is safe and have a lot to offer for our kids. Great place to study!
