UPDATE number 2 — I received Midori No Yama and it’s the worst matcha I’ve ever tried. I truly wonder how you have the impudence to advertise it as “rich and high quality”. Can’t believe my friend spent €50 for this. Tastes disgusting, bitter, not vibrant, like the cheapest matcha you get at random cafes. Never coming again unfortunately. UPDATE: for those buying matcha, don’t get the brand on the picture (Haru no Kaze) — it’s not ceremonial, but rather a cheap greyish matcha which didn’t taste nice, bitter and not flavourful, low quality. :( Get Marukyu instead! Much better at the same price. Maison Satori is a truly remarkable place with authentic Gong Fu Cha ceremonies, great selection of teas and incredible desserts. I recommend buying sakura mochi, high-quality matcha and Japanese incense here.
Super friendly atmosphere, beautifully stocked with all things surrounding the Japanese tea ritual, decorative items. Sympathetic service, amazing choice of teas. You can ask for advice, drink a cup at the bar (and eat a classic sweat snack), or take some tea home.
It was by pure luck that I came across this shop! As a matcha lover, it was probably the best matcha tea of my life! Simon provided me good advices regarding teas and Japan. I can’t wait to go back there with my friends ☺️

Incroyable. Ma sœur et moi avons testé pas mal de matcha dans la métropole lilloise, et nous plaçons sans aucun doute leur matcha en 1er position, le dosage est parfait, les douceurs sont excellentes notamment la boule de riz à la cerise. L’accueil est chaleureux et la décoration magnifique. J’y retournai sans aucun doute.
