I cannot complain about the surgery but the surgeon was no darling & the nurses were inexcusably rude, in front of my visitors, who were horrified. They would be given a warning, then get the sack if unheeded. They hurt you when they know you are vulnerable & in pain.

My husband had a bad full front calf leg injury that was not healing. I was trying to buy supplies to bandage leg at a local pharmacy when the pharmacist insisted on inspecting the wound....she sent my spouse to the 'urgencies' immediately. My husband was treated lwonderfully...the triage nurses immediately put him at ease speaking about a Scottish Rugby player... in fact one of the triage nurses has a flat in Edinburgh.... All in all the injury was cleaned and dressed. My husband was given extensive tests over 5 hours to check for internal infections and given inoculations for tetanus. I was given supplies to continue cleaning and dressing the wound. Now 15 days later his injury is healing and he is much better. Thank you the whole 'urgencies' team on the am shift 23 September....La Croix Rousse Urgences, you were wonderful. Linda (wife to the patient you called AKA Finn Russell).

This hospital's Emergency Service needs urgent change... itself. Worst experience ever — no first aid, no real help, and staff untrained and disorganized, with poor attitudes. They kept saying there were no doctors and made me wait all night while I was bleeding heavily. No basic care was given, yet I was still charged. Dangerous and unacceptable.

We were on a leisure trip with my sons in Lyon and my older son started to show symptoms of gastroenteritis (vomiting, diarrhea etc). So, we went at the emergency department of the hospital around 02.00 in the night. Everyone was treating us with professionalism and kindness, doctors and nurses were very attentive, they did all the necessary tests and did everything to relieve my son. A GREAT THANKS is not enough to thank all of the personnel and doctors of this hospital.

Great hospital with very attentive staff, the nurses i met in the gynecology emergency were all very sweet and helpful and i felt comfortable even with my limited French. Thank you so much

Emergency closes at 7pm so make sure you get sick at the right time! Pathetic . Coupled with an unhelpful reception who couldn't even point us in the direct of the another hospital/doctor nor care what our problem was

I stayed here for 8 days, 4 in resuscitation and 4 in gynecology. Fantastic hospital, they literally saved my life.
