A beautiful and relaxing place to spend time in Parc de la Tête d’Or. The park is clean, spacious, and perfect for walking, picnics, or simply enjoying nature. The atmosphere is peaceful, and there’s plenty to see and do for both adults and children. Definitely one of the nicest spots to visit in Lyon.
One of the best parks I’ve been to. They have free gardens, including one in a greenhouse with a lot of variety, and a free zoo. It’s huge and there is a lot to do, including a lake, restaurants, mini golf, and quieter areas if you just want to walk between trees in peace.
Beautiful and very large park! It has a free zoo, a big lake where you can just relax or even rent a small boat, and plenty of space for biking. There are also cafés inside the park. Definitely worth a visit!
Thìs park is so so beautiful with the flowers, lake, and mini zoo. B They also have a cafe next to the lake. I also see families having a picnic. You can really get lost being there and trying to get out haha. The best part is that it’s free
A grand park to spend a whole afternoon. One circle around the park, with preriodical stops to smell the roses, hear the cow bellows, sit to take in the air will take about 2.5 to 3 hours. One of the best parks I've been to. If only it has beer gardens like those in Munich...
Probably the most beautiful park in Lyon, and one of the most beautiful parks in France. What I really liked is that, although the park is not very large (it covers just over 100 hectares), it is extremely diverse. In addition to tree-lined paths and picnic areas, it features a very interesting botanical garden (with free entry), a lake containing a small island (Lac de la Tête d'or), and a tiny wharf from which you can rent boats for trips on the lake, a museum (the Museum of Contemporary Art), dozens of beautiful statues (the most impressive, in my opinion, being the Monument aux Morts pour les Enfants du Rhône, located in front of the spectacular Porte des Enfants du Rhône), and even a small zoo - which I did not visit, as I do not agree with keeping animals in captivity, especially since, before visiting the park, I searched for information online and found out that the animals are kept in very small cages. That is why, even though I liked the park very much, I am only giving it 3 stars instead of 5.
Such a lovely park🩷Didn’t rent the little pedal boats on the lake and I’m still thinking about it honestly:( The ice cream by the lake somehow tasted even better here. Very peaceful, romantic, and perfect for slowing down a bit.
Stunning park, wide paths to walk, run or bicycle. Lakes, green houses, zoo, lots of green 💚 Definitely highly recommend 🇨🇦
