This place is spot on for authentic laugher in English and French. Sunday around 5:30 international English speaking comedians bring on laughter and fun. The bar is plentyful and the hospital is welcoming.

For Spill the Tea: It is a very small crowd. There were only seven of us. There was a wide variety of different comedians with different topics and backgrounds. The level of fluency varied from person to person but as native english speakers, we were able to understand the jokes and laugh along with them and enjoyed it very much! The comedians are in the process of creating material so some jokes land and some do not. It is simply the nature of the show. Very welcoming and we were happy to support the comedians. I would recommend!

Always a great ambience. Everyone is kind and welcoming. The MC and comedians have always been energetic and welcoming, each one with their own charm.

I can only comment about the “English" Comedy show called "Spill The Tea" !!! I love comedy and my tolerance for insults and lack of humour/talent is pretty high but this show was the most painfully horrible experience I have ever had when it comes to comedy for several reasons: First of all none of these teenage/young adult comedians spoke a word of English, they all had written their sentences down AND had trouble reading their own phrases off of their phones ON STAGE!! Some would realise ON STAGE that their translation into English had ruined the joke and no longer makes any sense !! Secondly they kept attacking the audience which were a small group of 6 people in a very direct and rude way, they would be very offensive about nationality, race, colour, political views, but wait there is more. The final segment is about S E X. I recommend you walk away before you endure this part. You'll lose your appetite for weeks. And it is painfully anything but humorous. I sensed no talent and a lot of laziness ! They were all unprepared and were trying to project their own shame onto the audience by using cheap shots, toilet humour, distasteful sexual jokes that lead to nowhere. Some had not even practiced once in their own bedroom in front of the mirror ! This was their very first time reading the joke off of their phone ON STAGE, only to realise it is not funny, or there is no link from story to story ! For most of them it was their first time on stage speaking English. Actually they could not speak any English and they were trying to figure out English grammar ON STAGE. I am all for giving novices a chance but when you advertise for an "English Comedy Night" and CHARGE for it, we expect your presenters to speak the language at least no matter how bad they are at comedy ! Don’t get me started on the venue!! It’s in a dark cramped underground dungeon of maximum 3 x 3 meters, I was worried if there is an emergency you could never get out in time, climbing those steep s

We laughed our heads off at Bobar comedy club. 10 eu cover and had a couple drinks. Met with the comedians after who were so friendly to us. Comedy in English Sundays at 5 PM. Keep up the laughs Bobar! The world needs you. Merci beaucoup!
