LE BOL

Tucked away in a little alley in the cobblestones streets of old Bezier is a jewel of a restaurant that makes you feel like you're in a movie (like an Amazon RomCom!) When we entered the open hearth wood fire cracked and provided that sense and smell that is both comforting and almost primal. Sitting near the fire on a late January evening, we enjoyed the entrees (pate de Madison & salad) that were delicious. My wife and I then both had the fish of the day. Perfectly seasoned, pan seared (so that the maillard reaction produced the most exquisite taste), and finished with a cheesecake and a chocolate dessert. The cheesecake was light, airy and very flavorful. The chocolate dessert (served in a mason jar), started with preserved cherries on the bottom, a thin cake layer, topped with chocolate mousse and then whipped cream (please, don't judge me). We were asking about a digestif to accompany dessert such as rivesaltes, but the owner suggested something better and brought out a bottle of Muscat de St-Jean de Minervois, which produced an OMG moment in harmony with the dessert. This was a spectacular find for us and an incredibly enjoyable experience.

Last night was so much fun! ♥️ Friends, and new friends, joining together for dinner, drinks, conversations, and laughs! The place, Les Bons Amis…of course! Perfect location, for a perfect evening! Fabrice, and his entire staff, took excellent care of each of us! Looking forward to the next time our paths cross!

We had a fantastic time on a sunny sunday, the staff were attentive and gave great recommendations for wine and we had a delicious tapenade, hummus and burrata with tomato. Would definitely recommend!!!

100% recommend! Incredible service, delicious food, off the beaten path, and a very friendly atmosphere. Everything was fresh and high quality, made from scratch and locally sourced, the best burger ever!!

This s was a truly lovely experience. I had wanted to go many times, but the opportunity never presented itself, until recently. A nice catch up with a friend in a warm, relaxed, friendly and fun atmosphere, attentive and knowledgeable staff and good food, nicely presented. Lovely vaulted stone interior walls and a very natural and unassuming decor, in keeping with the historical location. Highly recommended and I intend to explore more of the menu in the very near future!!

Aug 2025 Beautifully situated beneath large trees, this restaurant is the perfect romantic location. The choices from the set menu are excellent as is the food itself. We were served by the owner's daughter who was delightful and had perfect English. Gets busy so try and book in advance.

Amazing atmosphere right in the heart of Béziers! The food and wine were absolutely delicious, but what really made the experience special were the wonderful stories shared by both the waiter and the owner. Their warmth and charm added so much to the evening, making the whole place feel alive and full of character. A truly refreshing and memorable spot.
