Excellent terrine and Chardonnay. Gratin de ravioles du Dauphine with white truffles sauce was out of this world, as well as the one with porcini sauce. Friendly staff, kind service - a lovely dinner, overall. Highly recommended for those looking for dauphinoise cuisine. Have to mention that their terrine was the best we have tasted around Grenoble.
GOOD POINTS This is an excellent restaurant at a reasonable price. It's just a couple of minutes walk from the main tourist bit. Timing: although busy the timing and staff worked really well together. I like a table cloth at a restaurant and this one was exquisite. It was lace but dipped in some kind of resin to aid cleaning. Portion size: This was just right. Perfect amount of salad and chips and a good size burger. Desert was an excellent size. Staff: The staff were dressed really nicely. Food: My burger came with a steak knife and a range of good fillings. The salad came with a tasty dressing. The desert (tart tatin) was the best I've had. The wine was perfectly priced. A gentle breeze passed through the restaurant. The toilets were clean with a fitting green theme. The Chandeliers were wonderful and I liked the paintings. A menu was offered in English and the staff spoke excellent English. The menu was beautifully presented with scroll work surrounding each page. TO IMPROVE Very small point: there was 1 or 2 tiny small items on the burger that were a little charred, perhaps an onion? You could ask the council to paint the delivery box opposite as the graffiti was a little poor, but I understand this is beyond the restaurants remit. Overall best venue for me this summer.
The ravioles gratin with cep sauce were rich and indulgent, setting the tone for an incredible meal. The fondant beef, slow-cooked for 12 hours in red wine sauce, melted in our mouths, perfectly complemented by the creamy gratin dauphinois. Great service! Fast serving (we were 2). Simply one of the best meals we’ve ever had! A must if you are in Grenoble! We were amazed and super happy to have found this place!
Perfect quaint restaurant to have an incredible meal. We had the slow cooked beef fondant, and the cep ravioli's. Both were phenomenal, and the desserts were top notch. Impeccable service, a must if in Grenoble!
Amazing food! Don't miss the Ravioles du Dauphiné aux morilles! Absolutely the best ravioles ever! Everything is homemade and delicious.
This restaurant is absolutely gorgeous and the food was incredible. Best food I ate in Grenoble. I loved the atmosphere and the decor of the restaurant felt really unique, beautiful, and upscale. The staff was very friendly and the food was delicious!
A true and authentic French cuisine experience!! The food is exceptional, the drink list also! Do not forget to get dessert. We tried the fish with capers and the ravioli with truffle sauce. The only downside was that there was no English menu.
Came back here and always good hear. <2023.1> The steak was very good, with a good service, and the decent price. I will come back. Another good point is opening Monday that many restaurants are closed.
