I want to personally appreciate the waitress we had today. She made our visit very pleasant! 💖 she’s at the top floor and there were not a lot of helps besides her but she made sure our plate of breads is always full, the water is filled, and check in with us from time to time to make sure we have good experience. Food is surprisingly good! A bit improvement would be the quality of chicken. It’s very dry. Other than that I’ll give them 5/5
Absolutely amazing experience. The service was 10/10, the food was outstanding, and the location is simply breathtaking. From the moment you arrive, the place feels magical. Surrounded by the sea and set on a stunning rocky cliffside, the views are unforgettable. Everything was perfect from start to finish. Highly recommended and definitely worth visiting.
Came here an early dinner for my birthday. The restaurant is beautiful. The service was quick and very helpful. I had the pasta and zucchini flowers as well as a wonderful rosé. The food was great and came quickly. I had a reservation which is recommended. I will come back whenever I am back in Nice!
Without a doubt, Le Plongeoir was the highlight of our entire trip to France. The setting is simply breathtaking. Perched above the Mediterranean, the view is mesmerizing from every angle. My wife and I found ourselves constantly stopping to admire the water, the coastline, and the nearby beach. We took pictures from every corner because every view felt postcard-worthy. The atmosphere is incredibly romantic and intimate, making it the perfect place for a special evening. The staff were warm, personable, and made us feel welcome throughout the afternoon. For drinks, we enjoyed several cocktails, including The One, Le French, and Sunset. Each one was delicious and beautifully crafted. We started with the Tartare de Thon along with the table bread, both excellent. For our entrées, my wife had the Creamy Rigatoni à la Truffe de Saison, while I ordered their signature Filet de Loup Rôti. Both dishes were outstanding. The flavors were complex yet elegant, allowing the quality of the ingredients to shine through. For dessert, we shared the Mangue, which was creamy, refreshing, and the perfect ending to an unforgettable evening. This wasn’t just dinner, it was an experience. Between the food, the cocktails, the service, and one of the most spectacular views we’ve ever seen, Le Plongeoir gave us a memory we’ll never forget. If you’re visiting Nice, this is an absolute must.
If you are in Nice for couple of days, make sure you are booking in advance this restaurant weeks before your visit. Unusual location , It’s worth the experience and the food is very good. Located on top of a cliff couple minutes walk from the port , the service and the team is very professional. The two Terrasse run by waiters who are happy to serve you. I had a lovely grilled fish served with mash potato and olive oil. Grilled calamari also was very tasty. Worth to dine as well and soaking up over the sunset . A bit expensive for the type of food being served but worth it.
Wow! What an amazing setting & the food was incredible. Very attentive service we had the best time. Only slight niggle is I booked the table over a year ago and asked for a table near the side, our table was in the middle so the view not as great to appreciate with other diners around. I appreciate tables aren’t guaranteed but booking so far in advance I thought we would have at least had a chance of a better table.
We booked a table at 3pm for our last day in Nice. Somehow, for reasons unknown, we were shown to what I think may have been the best table in the restaurant, where we enjoyed one of the loveliest meals I've ever had (I feel like it was "Table #4," it's shown in the pic.) The view...impossible to even describe. Staring out at the sea in the sunshine and being treated to impeccable service was only beat by the food, which was incredible. I had the orange burrata appetizer, the steak and the lemon tart. It was all absolutely fresh, cooked perfectly and delicious. My husband felt the same about his meal. The staff were attentive without being nosy, and the food took a perfectly reasonable amount of time. We never felt rushed, but also felt taken care of. This afternoon stay with us forever- I highly recommend the splurge at some point in your stay, but this was the grandest finale to our French Riviera trip!
I came to Le Plongeoir with a couple of friends for drinks last Tuesday and we loved it! We expected the venue to look amazing, but we were also very impressed with the tasty cocktails, excellent service, and overall vibe of the venue, which also had a great DJ. We ended up staying for several drinks. Aurore did a fantastic job of looking after us. I highly recommend a visit to Le Plongeoir.
