We loved the atmosphere and extremely welcoming wait-staff. Our waiter was multilingual, jovial, polite, and highly professional. The food was excellent. I enjoyed the escargot, French Onion soup, and main course. The kids loved their meals and especially the crepes. The clientele was a mix of some tourists and many locals. This is the type of restaurant that typifies Paris in my opinion. Highly recommended.

Look the food was good, but it was incredible hard to get waiters attention… It almost felt like the staff were too stretched. Not a bad experience, just not a recommend from me sorry.

Benjamin in Paris was absolutely amazing! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, cozy, and authentically Parisian. The food was delicious, the wine selection was excellent, and everything felt so welcoming and relaxed. A special thank you to La Santana, our waiter — truly outstanding service. He was professional, attentive, friendly, and made the whole experience even more enjoyable. You can tell he genuinely cares about the guests and takes pride in what he does. He gave great recommendations and made us feel very comfortable. If you’re visiting Paris and want a beautiful, authentic dining experience with exceptional service, this is the place to go. Highly recommend.

Café Benjamin offers a quintessential Parisian bistro experience—the perfect setting to savor some of France's most comforting and beloved dishes. Stepping inside, the atmosphere is warm and bustling, providing a cozy escape. For starters, the Onion Soup set a high bar. It was rich, deeply flavored, and beautifully caramelized, topped with a generous layer of Gruyère cheese melted to a perfect, bubbly crust over a toasted crouton. It’s hearty and satisfying—a flawless rendition of this classic. Moving on to a midday favorite, the Ham and Cheese Sandwich (assuming the toasted CroqueMonsieur style) was executed with impressive simplicity and quality. The bread was perfectly buttered and toasted, encasing high-quality jambon and a creamy béchamel sauce mixed with the cheese. It was substantial, savory, and pure comfort food done right. For dessert, we started with the Caramel Crêpe with French Vanilla Ice Cream. The crêpe itself was thin, delicate, and tender, bathed in a sticky, sweet caramel sauce that was buttery rather than cloying. Paired with a scoop of cool, aromatic French vanilla ice cream, it created a wonderful contrast of hot and cold, and texture. Finally, the Crème Brûlée delivered that essential moment of theater. The crack of the caramelized sugar crust gave way to a rich, smooth, and perfectly set vanilla custard underneath. It was served at an ideal temperature, demonstrating the kitchen's dedication to proper preparation. Café Benjamin delivers a high-quality, authentic taste of Paris. From the savory, deep flavors of the onion soup to the comforting sweetness of the crêpe and the precise execution of the crème brûlée, it's a place that respects French culinary tradition. It's highly recommended for anyone looking for classic bistro fare.

Within the heart of Paris, this lovely cafe shines bright even during a rainy day. The food is spectacular and makes your heart melt instantly. This cafe is truly the best. Many locals also eat here.

worst experience in a cafe: food: worst hot chocolate, it was super bland, no chocolate flavor at all, only milk or water with some chocolate powder. service: was not good, first there was no tissue for me when they brought my hot chocolate, second when I asked the barman where is the toilet, he asked me if I was siting in the cafe, which I never experienced before, he gave me the feeling that I didn't consume and just want to use the toilet, it makes me feel very uncomfortable and offended, FYI, I was sitting in front of him all the two hours.(you can see from the photo) Avoid this place!
