We made an online reservation using the OpenTable app. Arrived at the time of promise and our table was ready. The decorations looked modern with a large paint on the wall. They offered combinations of lunch courses: Entree+Plat or Plat+Dessert for 23€; or, Entree+Plat+Dessert for 28€. The Starter of the Day, the Soup of the Day, the Meat of the Day, the Fish of the Day, and the Dessert of the Day were all great choices.
The restaurant was nestled in a small but beautiful alley. Service was fast and professional. The escagot was quite nice and tasty while the beefsteak was a bit chewy. This place seemed to be popular to the group tours so it was very crowded and noisy during lunch time.
Dining at Chez Eduardo in Paris with friends was an experience that had its highs and lows. The location in the city center is great. Upon entering the restaurant, I noticed it was crowded with booked tour groups, which created a lively atmosphere. I ordered escargots, but I found the dish a bit disappointing; the filling was a green sauce rather than the traditional butter version. On a positive note, my grilled duck was fantastic—juicy and delicious, definitely a standout dish. The steak meat was tough but the grilled Salmon (or trout Salmon, can't make the difference) was excel. The staff at Chez Eduardo were friendly and provided quick service, which I greatly appreciated. However, the manager (or owner) left a negative impression. I observed him being rude to other customers and refusing to let some early arrivals use the restrooms despite having reservations. This behavior was uncalled for and left a sour taste in my mouth, especially for the affected customers, particularly the women. While the food quality varied from dish to dish, the friendly staff and prompt service were commendable. Unfortunately, the unprofessional behavior of the manager overshadowed what could have been an enjoyable dining experience. Given the evening's chill, it's understandable that patrons may need to use the restrooms after having a few glasses of wine. I believe that being considerate should be a basic virtue in hospitality. I believe this place is mainly popular with tour agents.
Kicked off our Paris trip with a classic — escargot. Not usually a fan of snails, but I have to say, it was pretty decent! The place was nice, but fair warning — it can get a bit noisy when a tour group rolls in. Other than that, a solid first meal in the city of lights
Definitely a tourist trap, food was pretty bland compared to other places I've had in Paris.
Delicious! I was only able to eat the salmon, the salad and the dessert because everything else has mushrooms in it (always ask, especially if you have food allergies). The cake was delicious and beautifully presented. The staff were kind, funny and very gracious.
Highly recommended seafood platter & escargot! We’ve had beef as main, it was overcooked and their duck confit is hard too 😥 Overall atmosphere is great☺️
We came here to get a taste of French cuisine and we were not disappointed with the quality and quantity of the food. The taste is good and the serving portion is big. The service is fast and attentive. The dining area is comfortable although it was packed with groups of tourists. A nice experience.
