We loved our stay at Maxim Quartier Latin. Location was excellent next to the metro and buses and walking distance to Notre Dame and le Pantheon -30 minutes walk-. Staff was very attentive and friendly. The room was clean and our bed was made every day and we also had fresh towels. A bit of a small room but that’s standard for Paris.

The hotel has a great location, and the staff is incredibly professional and friendly. Breakfast is perfect, offering high-quality food in a buffet style. In the hall lounge, you can get free coffee and cookies all day long. The bathroom is small but beautiful. The rooms are also perfectly functional, but be aware that they are truly very small. All in all, this is a sincere recommendation. We had a perfect time there!

Great location, very comfortable beds and room. The staff were all really helpful. Breakfast was really good with lots of fresh produce and the extra touches like home made cookies and board games in the lounge were appreciated.

I'm staying at the hotel at the moment, and the service has been excellent. The staff are always smiling and happy to help 24 hours a day. The room is perfect for a solo trip. I believe it's one of the smaller rooms, but for me it's perfect - with a great shower... which for me is always the most important part of a hotel room.||The location is fantastic - right next to very nice restaurants and cafes, with plenty of pleasant areas to walk around. Getting about wider in Paris is super easy given the metro is 90 seconds walk from the hotel door. I'd stay here for any future trips in Paris - this place is a gem.

We stayed for 1 night in the family suite (2 adults and 2 teenagers). No complaints other than the room being too small to move around as the sofa was opened up as a sofa bed to accommodate 4 people. Not suitable for long stay. Unless you’re travelling with big/many luggages, this hotel is perfect due to its superb room cleanliness, comfortable mattress, accessibility to metro and nearby food & grocery stores.

I stayed one night in this hotel when passing through Paris. I chose it because I know the area well and love the Latin quarter. Staff were all friendly and pleasant. The room (601), located on the top floor was small but clean and comfortable and I liked how it was decorated. The shower was good with high quality, aromatic products. However the window gave directly onto a fan/ ventilator in the wall right outside and this was going all night, which meant I had to wear ear plugs to get any rest. Secondly there was an issue regarding the 100€ deposit which they spring on you at check-in (no mention of this when booking or in subsequent communications). While they call it a preauthorization the money immediately comes out of your account. They only release it again some time after checkout. The evening after checkout they informed me I have had the deposit taken due to a supposed "degradation to the mattress" necessitating a specialized clean. I spilled a small amount of coffee in the morning on the sheet, then immediately dabbed it off with a towel and some water. However the mattress was not adequately protected. When I removed the sheet to clean it I noticed the water I had used to clean had seeped down to the mattress (there was no protective layer between the two). I left the damp patch exposed to dry (there was no actual stain) and was extremely surprised to receive the news they were taking my money. I asked for photographic evidence of the supposed damage but received none. Ultimately we resolved the issue and I was refunded (after I wrote a transparent review on Google, since edited to reflect resolution of the problem) but I believe this should never have happened and it did mar the experience unfortunately. Overall a pleasant hotel in a lovely area but best to avoid drinking coffee in bed or spilling anything! Staff helpfully stored my luggage while I enjoyed Paris prior to heading to the train station.

Our stay was fantastic! The hotel staff welcomed us with a smile upon arrival. The lobby was comfortable, rooms were clean and well designed. The shower was very small, but that was the only drawback. The location, value and overall comfort of this hotel will bring us back again. I’d recommend this hotel to anyone! Upon arrival, we were offered hot tea while waiting to check in and provided with city maps and helpful sightseeing tips. A standout feature is the 24/7 front desk key-drop service, which allows guests to explore the city without worrying about carrying room keys.Breakfast is served in a cozy café-style setting, with a good selection of food and beverages to start the day.While some guests note that the rooms are compact, we found this to be a reasonable trade-off for the prime location, excellent service, and fair pricing.
